and say to Tyre,‘ You who are situated at the entrance of the sea, merchant of the peoples on many coastlands, thus says the Lord God:“ O Tyre, you have said,‘ I am perfect in beauty.’Your borders are in the midst of the seas. Your builders have perfected your beauty.

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;

“ How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!

Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.

The crown has fallen from our head. Woe to us, for we have sinned!

Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, But they have sought out many schemes.”

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
