因此，耶和华上帝就把亚当赶出伊甸园，让他去开垦土地——他的本源。上帝赶走了亚当以后，就派遣基路伯天使驻守在伊甸园东边，又用一把旋转的火剑守护在通往生命树的路上。

“困苦不堪、饱经风雨、得不着安慰的城啊，我要以彩石作你的地基，用蓝宝石来建造你，用红宝石建你的城楼、水晶造你的城门、宝石建你的城墙。

你们要收刀入鞘，我要在你们的家乡，在你们的出生之地审判你们，

你的荣耀和琴声一同落入阴间，虫成了你的床铺，蛆成了你的被子。

耶和华的刑杖每责打他们一下，祂的子民必击鼓弹琴。祂必在战场上挥手击打他们。

上面镶上四行宝石：第一行是红宝石、黄玉和翠玉；第二行是绿宝石、蓝宝石和金刚石；第三行是紫玛瑙、白玛瑙和紫晶；第四行是水苍玉、红玛瑙和碧玉。以上四行宝石都镶在胸牌的金框内。他用刻图章的方法，在十二颗宝石上刻上以色列儿子的名字，代表以色列的十二支派。他用纯金拧成两条像绳子一样的链子，连在胸牌上，又造两个金框和两个金环，把金环安在胸牌两端。把两条金链分别穿在两个金环里，又把两条金链的另一端分别连在以弗得前面肩带的两个金框上。在靠近以弗得内侧、胸牌下面的两端造了两个金环。在以弗得肩带下端、接近腰带的地方又造了两个金环。用一条蓝色的带子系住以弗得和胸牌上面的金环，使胸牌贴在精工织成的以弗得腰带上，不会从以弗得上松脱。这些都是照耶和华对摩西的吩咐做的。

城墙的基石用各种宝石装饰：第一块基石是碧玉，第二块是蓝宝石，第三块是绿玛瑙，第四块是绿宝石，第五块是红玛瑙，第六块是红宝石，第七块是橄榄石，第八块是水苍玉，第九块是黄宝石，第十块是翡翠，第十一块是紫玛瑙，第十二块是紫晶。

那妇人身穿紫色和朱红色的袍子，用黄金、宝石及珍珠装扮自己。她手中拿着金杯，里面盛满了她淫乱的污秽、可憎之物。

‘圣灵对各教会所说的话，凡有耳朵的都应当听。我必将上帝乐园中生命树上的果子赐给得胜者吃。’

第一条支流叫比逊河，它环绕着哈腓拉全境。那里有金子，且是上好的金子，还有珍珠和红玛瑙。

上面要镶上四行宝石：第一行是红宝石、黄玉和翠玉；第二行是绿宝石、蓝宝石和金刚石；第三行是紫玛瑙、白玛瑙和紫晶；第四行是水苍玉、红玛瑙和碧玉。这些宝石都要用金框围着，镶在胸牌上。

示巴和拉玛的商人用各类上等香料、宝石和黄金交换你的货物。

我必使你的歌声消逝，琴音断绝。

罗得举目眺望，看见整个约旦河平原，远至琐珥，水源充足。在耶和华还没有毁灭所多玛和蛾摩拉之前，那地方就好像耶和华的伊甸园，又像埃及。

它们的前队如火燎原，后队如熊熊烈焰。它们未到以前，大地美得像伊甸园；它们过去之后，大地变成一片荒场。地上的一切都逃不过这一场浩劫。
