Your wealth, merchandise and wares, your mariners, sailors and shipwrights, your merchants and all your soldiers, and everyone else on board will sink into the heart of the sea on the day of your shipwreck.

You will be wrecked on that day. Your wealth, goods and products will sink deep into the sea. So will your sailors, officers, carpenters, traders and all your soldiers. Anyone else on board will sink too.

Everything is lost— your riches and wares, your sailors and pilots, your ship builders, merchants, and warriors. On the day of your ruin, everyone on board sinks into the depths of the sea.

Your wealth, merchandise, and goods, your sailors and captains, those who repair your leaks, those who barter for your goods, and all the warriors on board, with all the other people within you, sink into the heart of the sea on the day of your downfall.

Your wealth, your wares, your merchandise, Your seamen and your sailors, Your repairers of leaks, your dealers in merchandise, And all your men of war who are in you, With all your contingent that is in your midst, Will fall into the heart of the seas On the day of your overthrow.

“ Your riches, wares, and merchandise, Your mariners and pilots, Your caulkers and merchandisers, All your men of war who are in you, And the entire company which is in your midst, Will fall into the midst of the seas on the day of your ruin.

Thy riches, and thy wares, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the dealers in thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, with all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the heart of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

在神發怒的日子，財物毫無益處；唯有公義能救人脫離死亡。

你的帆是用埃及刺繡的細麻布做的，可作你的旗幟；你的篷是用以利沙沿岸的藍色和紫色布做的。西頓和亞發的居民給你蕩槳；推羅啊！你中間的技師作你的舵手。迦巴勒的技師和老練的工匠都在你那裡修補裂縫；所有海上的船隻和水手都在你那裡，與你進行貿易。

他們必擄去你的財富，以你的貨財為掠物；他們必破壞你的城牆，拆毀你華麗的房屋，把你的石頭、木頭和瓦礫都投在水中。

大馬士革人因你產品很多，又因你各樣豐富的財物，就用黑本酒和白羊毛（“白羊毛”或譯：“察哈爾羊毛”）來與你交易，威但人用烏薩出的酒（“用烏薩出的酒”原文作“和從烏薩來的雅完人”）來換取你的貨物；他們用鍛鐵、桂皮和菖蒲，來交換你的商品。

“地上的商人也為她悲哀痛哭，因為沒有人再買他們的貨物：就是金、銀、寶石、珍珠；細麻布、紫色布、絲綢、朱紅色布；各樣香木，各樣象牙製品，各樣極貴重的木器、銅器、鐵器、大理石製品；肉桂、荳蔻、香料、香膏、乳香；酒、油、麵粉、麥子；牛、羊、馬、車、奴僕、人口。你所貪戀的果子離開你了！一切珍饈美味、華麗的美物，都從你那裡消失，再也找不到了！販賣這些貨物，藉著她發了財的商人，因為害怕她受的痛苦，就遠遠地站著，痛哭悲哀，說：‘有禍了！有禍了！這大城啊！就是一向穿著細麻布、紫色、朱紅色的衣服，佩戴著金子、寶石和珍珠裝飾的，一時之間，這麼大的財富竟蕩然無存！’“所有船長、旅客、水手，以及凡是靠海謀生的，都遠遠地站著。他們看見了焚燒她的煙，就喊叫說：‘有哪一座城能與這大城相比呢？’他們又把塵土撒在自己頭上，痛哭悲哀，喊著說：‘有禍了！有禍了！這大城啊！凡是有船航行海上的，都因這城的財寶發了財；一時之間她竟成了荒場！’天哪，你要因她歡喜！眾聖徒、眾使徒、眾先知啊，你們也要因她歡喜！因為神已經在她身上為你們伸了冤。”有一位大力的天使，把一塊好像大磨石一樣的石頭，舉起來拋在海裡，說：“巴比倫大城也必這樣被猛力地拋下去，決不能再找到了！彈琴、奏樂、吹笛、吹號的聲音，在你中間決不能再聽到了！各樣手藝技工，在你中間決不能再找到了！推磨的聲音，在你中間決不能再聽到了！燈的亮光，在你中間決不能再照耀了！新郎新娘的聲音，在你中間決不能再聽到了！你的商人一向都是地上的大人物，萬國都因你的邪術受了迷惑。先知、聖徒和地上一切被殺的人的血，都在這城裡找到了！”

他們用美麗的衣服、藍色刺繡的袍子、色彩繽紛的地毯，用繩子綁得結實，在你的市場上與你交易。

示巴和拉瑪的商人都與你交易；他們用各樣上等的香料，各種寶石和黃金，來換取你的貨物。
