In the eleventh month of the twelfth year, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me:

It was the first day of the 11th month. It was the 12th year since King Jehoiachin had been brought to Babylon as a prisoner. A message from the Lord came to me. The Lord said,

It lasted until the ninth day of the fourth month of Zedekiah’s eleventh year. On that day they broke through the city walls.
