要對亞捫人說：你們要聽主永恆主的話：主永恆主這麼說：我的聖所被褻瀆，以色列地變成了荒涼，猶大家流亡去：以上每一件事發生時，你既然總說「啊哈！」來譏笑每一件，

曰、爾亞捫族、宜聽主耶和華之言、主耶和華曰、昔我聖所玷污、以色列地荒蕪、猶大家被虜、爾則曰、嘻嘻、

曰、爾亞捫人、宜聽我言、主耶和華曰、昔予之聖所被玷、以色列族荒蕪、猶大家盡被俘囚、爾見之則曰吁哉。

告亞捫人曰、爾曹當聽主天主之言、主天主如是云、昔我聖所被玷、以色列地荒蕪、猶大族被擄、爾見之則曰、吁哉、

Say to them,‘ Hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because you said“ Aha!” over my sanctuary when it was desecrated and over the land of Israel when it was laid waste and over the people of Judah when they went into exile,

Tell them,‘ Listen to the message of the Lord and King. He says,“ You laughed when my temple was made‘ unclean.’ You also laughed when the land of Israel was completely destroyed. You mocked the people of Judah when they were taken away as prisoners.

Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God, Because you said,‘ Aha!’ over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when they went into exile,

Give the Ammonites this message from the Sovereign Lord: Hear the word of the Sovereign Lord! Because you cheered when my Temple was defiled, mocked Israel in her desolation, and laughed at Judah as she went away into exile,

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the Lord GOD: This is what the Lord GOD says: Because you said,“ Aha!” about my sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was laid waste, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile,

and say to the sons of Ammon,‘ Hear the word of the Lord God! This is what the Lord God says:“ Because you said,‘ Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into exile,

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God:“ Because you said,‘ Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,

and say unto the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

Say to the Ammonites: Hear the word of the Lord God: This is what the Lord God says: Because you said,‘ Good!’ about My sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was laid waste, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile,

And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the sovereign LORD: This is what the sovereign LORD says: You said“ Aha!” about my sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile.

Tell the children of Ammon,‘ Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh! The Lord Yahweh says,“ Because you said,‘ Aha!’ against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

主耶和华这样说：因为仇敌攻击你们说：哈哈！那悠久的山冈都归给我们为业了。

嘲笑穷人的就是辱骂造他的主；幸灾乐祸的必难免受惩罚。

愿那些寻索我性命的，抱愧蒙羞；愿那些喜悦我遭害的，退后受辱。愿那些对我说：“啊哈！啊哈！”的，都因羞愧退后。

你的仇敌跌倒的时候，你不要欢喜；他绊倒的时候，你心里不可欢乐。恐怕耶和华看见了，就不喜悦，把他的怒气从仇敌的身上，转到你的身上。

我的仇敌啊！不要因我的遭遇而高兴；我虽然跌倒了，却必起来；我虽然坐在黑暗里，耶和华却必作我的光。

主耶和华这样说：因为你手舞足蹈，心存轻蔑，因以色列地的遭遇而欢喜。

以东人哪，乌斯地的居民哪，欢喜快乐吧！这杯也要传到你那里，你必喝醉以致赤身露体。

少年人和老年人都在街上倒卧在地死了；我的年轻男女都倒毙于刀下；在你忿怒的日子，你杀了他们，你屠杀了他们，毫不怜惜。你从四围招聚惊吓我的，好像招聚人过节的日子一样。在耶和华忿怒的日子，没有人可以逃脱，可以生存。我所抚育、所养大的，我的仇敌都灭尽了。

主耶和华这样说：“因为摩押和西珥说：‘看哪！犹大家与列国毫无分别’，

“人子啊！因为推罗论到耶路撒冷说：‘哈哈！那万族的门已经破坏了，向我打开了；我必得丰满，她却成了荒场！’所以主耶和华这样说：‘推罗啊！我要与你为敌；我必叫多国上来攻击你，好像海使波浪涌上来一样。他们必毁坏推罗的城墙，拆毁它的城楼；我必刮净它的尘土，使它成为光滑的磐石。它必在海中作晒网的地方，因为我已经说了。这是耶和华的宣告。它必成为列国的掠物，那些在陆地居住的推罗人必被刀剑所杀；然后，他们就知道我是耶和华。“‘因为主耶和华这样说：看哪！我要使诸王之王，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，率领马匹、战车、骑兵和一支大军，从北方来攻击推罗。他必用刀剑杀戮你那些在陆地居住的人；他必建造围城的高墙，筑起土垒，举起盾牌攻击你。他必用攻城锤攻击你的城墙，用武器拆毁你的城楼。因为他的马匹众多，它们扬起的尘土必遮盖你；他进入你的城门，好像人进入已有破口的城，那时，你的城墙必因骑兵、车轮和战车的响声而震动。他的马蹄必践踏你所有的街道；他必用刀杀戮你的人民；你坚固的柱子必倒在地上。他们必掳去你的财富，以你的货财为掠物；他们必破坏你的城墙，拆毁你华丽的房屋，把你的石头、木头和瓦砾都投在水中。我必使你唱歌的喧声止息；人也再听不到你的琴声。我必使你成为光滑的磐石；你必成为晒网的地方；你必不再被建造，因为我耶和华已经说了。这是主耶和华的宣告。’“主耶和华对推罗这样说：‘杀戮在你中间发生，受伤的人都在唉哼的时候，众海岛岂不因你倾倒的声音而震动吗？那时所有沿海的君王都必由王座下来，除去朝服，脱下刺绣的衣服；披上战兢，坐在地上，不停发抖，因你而惊骇。他们必为你作一首哀歌说：你这著名的城，航海之人的居所，在海上坚固有力的啊！你和你的居民素来使惊恐临到所有住在那里的人身上，你怎么绝了迹呢？现在海岛的居民在你倾倒的日子，都必战兢；众海岛因你的毁灭而惊惶。因为主耶和华这样说：我使你成为荒废的城市，像没有人居住的城镇；我使深渊的水上升漫过你，使大水淹没你，那时，我要使你与那些下到阴府的人一起，下到古时的人那里去；我要使你住在地的深处，就是住在久而荒废之地，与那些下到阴府的人在一起，以致你不再在活人的境界重现（“不再在活人的境界重现”这译法是参考古译本，原文作“不再返回，我却要在活人境地显出荣耀”）。我必使你遭遇可怕的灾祸，你就不再存在了；人虽然寻找你，却永不再寻得着。这是主耶和华的宣告。’”

“‘因为你曾说：这两国这两邦都必归我，我必得它们为业，但其实耶和华还是在那里。所以我指着我的永生起誓：我必照着你因仇恨而向他们所发的忿怒和嫉妒对待你。我审判你的时候，必把自己显明在他们中间。这是主耶和华的宣告。这样，你就必知道我耶和华听见了你的一切毁谤，就是你攻击以色列众山的话，说：“这些山都已经荒凉了！已经给我们吞吃了！”你们用口说夸大的话攻击我，说出许多话来与我作对，我都听见了。主耶和华这样说：全地都欢乐的时候，我却要使你荒凉。你怎样因以色列家的产业荒凉而欢乐，我也必照样待你。西珥山啊！你和以东全地都必荒凉。他们就知道我是耶和华。’”
