我必藉我民以色列之手、復報以東人、彼必循我之盛忿烈怒、行刑在以東、使以東人知我如何加報、此乃主天主所言、○

我必藉我民以色列的手报复以东；以色列民必照我的怒气，按我的忿怒在以东施报，以东人就知道是我施报。这是主耶和华说的。”

我要藉我子民以色列的手报复以东；他们必照我的怒气，按我的愤怒对待以东，以东人就知道施报的是我。这是主耶和华说的。”

假我民以色列之手、依我烈怒大忿、行報復於以東、使知我之報復、主耶和華言之矣、○

我震怒以東、必使我民以色列族、侵伐其土地、以雪我忿、使知我實降是災、我耶和華已言之矣。

I will take vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger and my wrath; they will know my vengeance, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

I will use my people Israel to pay Edom back. They will punish Edom because my anger against it is great. They will know how I pay back my enemies,” announces the Lord and King.

And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, declares the Lord God.

I will accomplish this by the hand of my people of Israel. They will carry out my vengeance with anger, and Edom will know that this vengeance is from me. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!

列國服事爾、萬族拜跪爾、兄弟尊爾為主、與爾同母者、拜跪爾、詛爾者見詛、祝爾者見祝、

彼西往如飛、攻非利士人之境、或作彼西侵非利士人之境同掠東方人之貨財、舉手制服以東及摩押、亞捫人亦服之、

曰、主乃忌邪施報施報或作復仇下同之天主、主震怒施報、施報於逆之者、為怨之者存怒心、主猶含忍不遽怒、具有大能、不以惡人為無罪、主乘烈風迅風而來、以雲為足下之塵、斥海、海水即涸、使諸江河枯竭、使巴珊迦密之百卉衰殘、使利巴嫩之榮華雕謝、

故主曰、時日將至、我必使戰爭之聲、聞於亞捫族之拉巴、拉巴成為荒邱、屬拉巴之鄉里、被火焚燬、敵人昔據以色列之地、今以色列轉得敵人之地、此乃主所言、

懲罰在我我必報復、其足躓蹶必有其時、彼之受禍其日伊邇、當受之報速臨其身、主見己民無力可恃、自主及僕自主及僕或作成人幼穉俱已消亡、則必為民伸冤、亦復矜恤其僕、或作則必為其民而伸冤為其僕而回志

籲呼山巖曰、墜於我身掩蓋我、可避坐寶座者之面、及羔之怒、蓋其怒之大日至矣、孰能當之、

此來自以東衣紅衣、來自波斯拉衣麗服、具大力、威烈而來者誰乎、主曰、乃我也、我言仁義、我言仁義或作我應許救恩有大力能以救民、民曰、爾衣甚紅、爾服與踐葡萄於壓酒處者無異、何歟、主曰、我獨踐葡萄於壓酒處、萬民中無人偕我、我震怒以踐踏之、施威以蹂躪之、其血濺於我衣、污染我服、蓋復仇之日、已在我心、贖我民之時已屆矣、我見無人輔助、無人扶持、甚為奇異、故自以臂施行拯救、施威自為扶持、震怒踐踏異邦人、施威使之沈醉、使其血流於地、○

故主天主曰、我指己永生而誓、爾毒恨嫉妒、逞怒以待我民、我必視爾所為以報爾、我罰爾之時、使彼彼即以色列人得識我、

善人見惡人遭報、必然喜悅、必濯足於惡人之血中、彼時人必云、善人果有善報、在世間真有判斷之天主、

經載主云、罰惡在我、我必報之、言此者、我儕知之、又曰、主必審鞫其民、遭永生天主之譴、可畏也已、
