“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Woe to the city of bloodshed! I myself will make the pile of kindling large.

所以主耶和华如此说：祸哉！这流人血的城，我也必大堆火柴，

所以主耶和华说，‘血腥的城啊，你有祸了！我要预备大堆木柴，

因此，主耶和华这样说：流人血的城，有祸了！我也必把柴堆加大。

所以主耶和華如此說：禍哉！這流人血的城，我也必大堆火柴，

所以主耶和華如此說：禍哉！這流人血的城，我必親自加大柴堆。

所以主耶和華如此說：禍哉！這流人血的城，我必親自加大柴堆。

所以主耶和華說，『血腥的城啊，你有禍了！我要預備大堆木柴，

因此，主耶和華這樣說：流人血的城，有禍了！我也必把柴堆加大。

因此主永恆主這麼說：有禍啊這流人血的城！我，我也要加大柴堆，

主耶和華曰、禍哉血邑、我必堆積多薪、

耶和華曰、邑民殺人其有禍乎、我必用車薪、使鼎沸然、增益其柴、火炎水沸、骨肉俱盡。

故主天主如是云、邑中殺人流血、禍必臨之、我必廣其火場、

“‘ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ Woe to the city of bloodshed! I, too, will pile the wood high.

So the Lord and King said to me,“ How terrible it will be for this city! It has so many murderers in it. I too will pile the wood high.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: What sorrow awaits Jerusalem, the city of murderers! I myself will pile up the fuel beneath her.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the wood pile great.

‘ Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ Woe to the bloody city! I too will make the pyre great.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: Woe to the city of bloodshed! I Myself will make the pile of kindling large.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.

“‘ Therefore this is what the sovereign LORD says: Woe to the city of bloodshed! I will also make the pile high.

“‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.

Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and founds a town with injustice!

“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Woe to the city of bloodshed, the pot that has corrosion inside it, and its corrosion has not come out of it! Empty it piece by piece; lots should not be cast for its contents.

Indeed! Topheth has been ready for the king for a long time. Its funeral pyre is deep and wide, with plenty of fire and wood. The breath of the LORD, like a torrent of burning sulfur, kindles it.

So I have poured out my indignation on them and consumed them with the fire of my fury. I have brought their conduct down on their own heads.” This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.

Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Because all of you have become dross, I am about to gather you into Jerusalem.Just as one gathers silver, copper, iron, lead, and tin into the furnace to blow fire on them and melt them, so I will gather you in my anger and wrath, put you inside, and melt you.Yes, I will gather you together and blow on you with the fire of my fury, and you will be melted within the city.As silver is melted inside a furnace, so you will be melted inside the city. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have poured out my wrath on you.”

By the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.Dear friends, don’t overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed.Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godlinessas you wait for the day of God and hasten its coming. Because of that day, the heavens will be dissolved with fire and the elements will melt with heat.

Because they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, you have given them blood to drink; they deserve it!

Then the press was trampled outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press up to the horses’ bridles for about 180 miles.

Woe to the city of blood, totally deceitful, full of plunder, never without prey.

The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the Great was remembered in God’s presence; he gave her the cup filled with the wine of his fierce anger.

Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns committed sexual immorality and perversions, and serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.

“ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her. How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!See, your house is abandoned to you. I tell you, you will not see me until the time comes when you say,‘ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord’!”

when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

His rock will pass away because of fear, and his officers will be afraid because of the signal flag. This is the LORD’s declaration— whose fire is in Zion and whose furnace is in Jerusalem.

But the cowards, faithless, detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars— their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
