Then the people asked me,“ Won’t you tell us what these things have to do with us? Why are you acting like this?”

百姓问我说：“你这样行与我们有什么关系，你不告诉我们吗？”

百姓对我说：“你这样做跟我们有什么关系，你不告诉我们吗？”

百姓对我说：“你这样做跟我们有什么关系，你不告诉我们吗？”

百姓问我：“你可以告诉我们，你这样做跟我们有什么关系吗？”

众人问我：“你不告诉我们你这样行与我们有什么关系吗？”

百姓問我說：「你這樣行與我們有甚麼關係，你不告訴我們嗎？」

百姓對我說：「你這樣做跟我們有甚麼關係，你不告訴我們嗎？」

百姓對我說：「你這樣做跟我們有甚麼關係，你不告訴我們嗎？」

百姓問我：「你可以告訴我們，你這樣做跟我們有什麼關係嗎？」

眾人問我：“你不告訴我們你這樣行與我們有甚麼關係嗎？”

人民問我說：『你這樣行跟我們有甚麼關係、你不告訴我們麼？』

民問我曰、爾之所為、與我何與、請以告我、

民問我曰、爾有斯舉、與我何與、請以告我。

民問我曰、爾如是以行、與我何與、請以告我、

Then the people said to me,“ Tell us what these things have to do with us. Why are you acting like this?”

And the people said to me,“ Will you not tell us what these things mean for us, that you are acting thus?”

Then the people asked,“ What does all this mean? What are you trying to tell us?”

Then the people asked me,“ Won’t you tell us what these things you are doing mean for us?”

And the people said to me,“ Will you not tell us what these things mean for us, that you are doing?”

And the people said to me,“ Will you not tell us what these things signify to us, that you behave so?”

And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?

Then the people asked me,“ Won’t you tell us what these things you are doing mean for us?”

And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these[ things are] to us, that thou doest[ so]?

Then the people said to me,“ Will you not tell us what these things you are doing mean for us?”

The people asked me,“ Won’t you tell us what these things are to us, that you do so?”

“ Son of man, did not the Israelites, that rebellious people, ask you,‘ What are you doing?’

“ When your people ask you,‘ Won’t you tell us what you mean by this?’

And when they ask you,‘ Why are you groaning?’ you shall say,‘ Because of the news that is coming. Every heart will melt with fear and every hand go limp; every spirit will become faint and every leg will be wet with urine.’ It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

“ You have spoken arrogantly against me,” says the Lord.“ Yet you ask,‘ What have we said against you?’

Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty.“ But you ask,‘ How are we to return?’“ Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.“ But you ask,‘ How are we robbing you?’“ In tithes and offerings.

Then I said,“ Sovereign Lord, they are saying of me,‘ Isn’t he just telling parables?’”

“ Say to this rebellious people,‘ Do you not know what these things mean?’ Say to them:‘ The king of Babylon went to Jerusalem and carried off her king and her nobles, bringing them back with him to Babylon.
