On the very day they sacrificed their children to their idols, they entered my sanctuary and desecrated it. That is what they did in my house.

他又在耶和华的殿内建造祭坛，耶和华曾指着这殿说：“我要立我的名在耶路撒冷。”

“先知和祭司都不敬虔，甚至在我殿里我也看见他们的邪恶。”这是耶和华的宣告。

他们面上的表情指证他们的不对；他们像所多玛一般宣扬自己的罪恶，并不隐瞒；他们有祸了，因为他们自招祸害。

“可是，你们竟然倚靠虚谎无益的话。你们怎可偷盗、凶杀、奸淫、起假誓、向巴力烧香，跟从你们素不认识的别神，然后来到这称为我名下的殿，站在我面前，说：‘我们安全啦！’你们这样就可以行这一切可憎的事吗？这称为我名下的殿，难道在你们眼中看为贼窝吗？但我都看见了。”这是耶和华的宣告。

“我所爱的既然行了罪大恶极的事，还有什么资格在我的殿里呢？难道祭肉可以消除你的灾祸，使你得着欢乐吗？”

此外，同一天，她们还向我作了这事，就是玷污我的圣所，又亵渎我的安息日。

城中的首领为贿赂而审判，祭司为薪俸而教导，先知为银子说默示，他们竟倚靠耶和华，说：“耶和华不是在我们中间吗？灾祸必不会临到我们身上。”

他又在耶和华的殿中筑坛，耶和华曾经指着这殿说：“我的名必永远留在耶路撒冷。”玛拿西在耶和华殿的两院中，为天上的万象筑坛，并且在欣嫩子谷把自己的儿女用火烧为祭，又占卜、行邪术、用法术、交鬼和通灵；作了很多耶和华看为恶的事，惹他发怒。他又把他所做的雕像立在神的殿中，神曾经指着这殿，对大卫和他的儿子所罗门说：“我要在这殿里，和在我从以色列各支派中拣选的耶路撒冷中，立我的名，直到永远。

清早的时候，犹太人把耶稣从该亚法那里押往总督的官邸。他们自己没有进到官邸里去，恐怕沾染了污秽，不能吃逾越节的晚餐。
