I will direct my jealous anger against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will cut off your noses and your ears, and those of you who are left will fall by the sword. They will take away your sons and daughters, and those of you who are left will be consumed by fire.

I will pour out my jealous anger on you. And the army’s anger will burn against you. They will cut off your noses and ears. Some of you who are left will be killed by swords. They will take away your sons and daughters. Others of you who are left will be burned up.

第六年六月五日，我正在家中與猶大的眾長老同坐，主耶和華的能力降在我身上。我觀看，只見有一位形狀像人，祂的腰部以下像火，腰部以上像閃亮的金屬。祂好像伸出一隻手，抓住我的頭髮。在異象中，靈把我舉到天地之間，將我帶到耶路撒冷聖殿內院的北門，那裡供奉著惹耶和華憤恨的神像。我忽然看見那裡有以色列上帝的榮耀，跟我在平原所見的一樣。祂對我說：「人子啊，你舉目北望。」於是，我舉目朝北一望，見在祭壇門的北面有惹耶和華憤恨的神像。祂又對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列人的所作所為了嗎？他們在這裡行那些極其可憎的事，以致我遠離我的聖所。你會看到更可憎的事。」祂帶我到院子的門口，我看見牆上有一個洞。祂對我說：「人子啊，你挖這牆。」我挖開牆後，看見一道門。祂對我說：「你進去看看他們在這裡做的邪惡可憎的事吧。」我進去後，看見四周的牆上畫滿了各種爬蟲、可憎的獸類和以色列人拜的神像。神像前面站著以色列的七十個長老，沙番的兒子雅撒尼亞也在當中，他們每人手中都拿著香爐，煙霧繚繞。祂又對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列的長老在自己藏神像的房間裡暗中所做的了嗎？他們說，『耶和華看不見我們，祂已經拋棄了這片土地。』」祂繼續說：「你會看到他們做更可憎的事。」祂帶我來到耶和華的殿外院的北門，看見一些婦女坐在那裡為搭模斯神像哭泣。祂對我說：「人子啊，你看見了嗎？你會看到更可憎的事。」祂帶我來到耶和華殿的內院，在殿門口，走廊和祭壇中間約有二十五個人背向耶和華的殿，面向東方朝拜太陽。祂又對我說：「人子啊，你看見了嗎？猶大人的這些可憎行徑還算小事嗎？他們到處行殘暴之事，再三惹我發怒，手拿樹枝舉向鼻前祭拜偶像。因此，我必憤怒地對待他們，我必不顧惜他們，也不憐憫他們，即使他們大聲向我呼求，我也不聽。」

我要懲罰你，像懲罰淫亂和殺人的婦女一樣。我要把烈怒和義憤倒在你身上，報應你殺人流血的罪。我要把你交在你的情人手裡。他們必拆毀你的祭壇，夷平你高高的神廟，剝去你的衣裳，奪走你的珠寶，留下你赤身露體。他們要聚眾攻擊你，用石頭打你，用刀劍砍碎你，燒毀你的房屋，在眾婦女面前審判你。我要阻止你的淫亂行為，使你不再倒貼錢給情人。這樣，我的烈怒才會平息，我的義憤才會消除，我才會平靜下來，不再發怒。

不可拜別的神明，因為耶和華是痛恨不貞的上帝，祂名為『痛恨不貞』。」

這樣，我對你們的怒氣才會發完，我才會息怒。我把烈怒傾倒在你們身上的時候，你們就會知道我耶和華的話是出於痛恨不貞。

所以，主耶和華說，我怎樣把林中的葡萄樹丟在火中當柴燒，也必照樣丟棄耶路撒冷的居民。我必嚴懲他們。他們縱然火裡逃生，仍要被火燒滅。我嚴懲他們的時候，他們便知道我是耶和華。

你要對南地的樹林說，『你要聽耶和華的話。主耶和華說，我要在你那裡燃起火來，燒毀你所有的青樹和枯樹。這不熄的烈火要從南到北燒焦一切。這樣，世人便知道這烈火是我耶和華點燃的，它絕不會熄滅。』」

在耶和華發怒的日子，他們的金銀救不了他們。祂的怒火必吞噬大地，祂必驟然毀滅一切世人。」

「人子啊，在我看來，以色列人已經變成了渣滓。他們是爐中的銅、錫、鐵、鉛，都是銀渣滓。所以主耶和華說，『你們既是渣滓，我要把你們聚集在耶路撒冷城。我要在烈怒中把你們聚集在城裡熔化，就像人把銀、銅、鐵、鉛、錫聚在高溫的爐中熔化一樣。我要聚集你們，把我的怒火倒在你們身上，熔化你們。你們要在城中熔化，就像銀在煉爐中熔化。你們就知道我耶和華已將我的烈怒傾倒在你們身上。』」

請把我印在你的心上，刻在你的手臂上，因為愛情如死亡一般堅固，嫉妒像陰間一樣殘酷，它燃起的火焰是燒滅一切的烈火。

耶和華絕不會赦免這樣的人，祂必向這樣的人發烈怒，使記在這書上的一切咒詛臨到他身上，從世上抹去他的名字。

那丈夫妒火燃燒，報仇時絕不留情。

他們拜假神，讓我憤恨；供虛無之物，惹我發怒。我要藉無名之民挑起他們的嫉妒，用愚昧的國民激起他們的怒氣。我的怒火已經點燃，要燒到陰間的盡頭，吞滅大地及其出產，甚至燒毀山的根基。

所以在一天之內，她的災禍，就是死亡、哀傷和饑荒要同時臨到她身上。她要被火燒盡，因為審判她的主上帝能力偉大。
