他們殺死寡婦和寄居的，又殺害孤兒。

那些以強暴搶奪財物、積蓄在自己家中的人不知道行正直的事。這是耶和華說的。

為要屈枉窮乏人，奪去我民中困苦人的理，以寡婦當作擄物，以孤兒當作掠物。

「若有外人在你們國中和你同居，就不可欺負他。

因你們的手被血沾染，你們的指頭被罪孽沾污，你們的嘴唇說謊言，你們的舌頭出惡語。無一人按公義告狀，無一人憑誠實辯白；都倚靠虛妄，說謊言。所懷的是毒害；所生的是罪孽。他們菢毒蛇蛋，結蜘蛛網；人吃這蛋必死。這蛋被踏，必出蝮蛇。所結的網不能成為衣服；所做的也不能遮蓋自己。他們的行為都是罪孽；手所做的都是強暴。他們的腳奔跑行惡；他們急速流無辜人的血；意念都是罪孽，所經過的路都荒涼毀滅。

他們貪圖田地就佔據，貪圖房屋便奪取；他們欺壓人，霸佔房屋和產業。

虧負困苦和窮乏的人，搶奪人的物，未曾將當頭還給人，仰望偶像，並行可憎的事，

因為他們從最小的到至大的都一味地貪婪，從先知到祭司都行事虛謊。

工人給你們收割莊稼，你們虧欠他們的工錢，這工錢有聲音呼叫，並且那收割之人的冤聲已經入了萬軍之主的耳了。

因為在我民中有惡人。他們埋伏窺探，好像捕鳥的人；他們設立圈套陷害人。籠內怎樣滿了雀鳥，他們的房中也照樣充滿詭詐；所以他們得成為大，而且富足。他們肥胖光潤，作惡過甚，不為人伸冤！就是不為孤兒伸冤，不使他亨通，也不為窮人辨屈。

吃我民的肉，剝他們的皮，打折他們的骨頭，分成塊子像要下鍋，又像釜中的肉。

我作客旅，你們不留我住；我赤身露體，你們不給我穿；我病了，我在監裏，你們不來看顧我。』
