Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

“人子啊，你要预言。耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要说预言，告诉他们，耶和华这样说，“‘有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要预言，说：‘主耶和华这样说：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

「人子啊，你要預言。耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

「人子啊，你要說預言，告訴他們，耶和華這樣說，『有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要預言，說：‘主耶和華這樣說：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

『人子啊，你要傳神言說：主這麼說：你要說：有刀，有刀，又磨快，又擦亮；

人子歟、當預言曰、耶和華云、有刃有刃、既利且光、

人子、當傳我命曰、磨礪鋒刃、光芒四射。

人子、爾述預言曰、主如是云、當曰、有刃也、即磨利之刃、又已磨光焉、

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword, sharpened and polished—

“ Son of man, prophesy. Say,‘ The Lord says,“‘ “A sword! A sword! A sharp and shiny sword is coming from Babylon!

“ Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord, say:“ A sword, a sword is sharpened and also polished,

“ Son of man, give the people this message from the Lord:“ A sword, a sword is being sharpened and polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy,‘ This is what the Lord says!’ You are to proclaim,‘ A sword! A sword is sharpened and also polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:’ Say,‘ A sword, a sword sharpened And also polished!

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ Thus says the Lord!’ Say:‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened And also polished!

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Say, A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished;

“ Son of man, prophesy: This is what the Lord says! You are to proclaim: A sword! A sword is sharpened and also polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy and say:‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy, and say,‘ Yahweh says:“ A sword! A sword! It is sharpened, and also polished.

And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I[ am] against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors[ are] upon him.

And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword[ is] drawn: for the slaughter[ it is] furbished, to consume because of the glittering:

I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that[ their] heart may faint, and[ their] ruins be multiplied: ah![ it is] made bright,[ it is] wrapped up for the slaughter.

If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh;[ and that] with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness,[ and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the[ one] end of the land even to the[ other] end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.

And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.

And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as[ are] for death, to death; and such as[ are] for the sword, to the sword; and such as[ are] for the famine, to the famine; and such as[ are] for the captivity, to the captivity.

In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that[ is] in the sea.

God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry[ with the wicked] every day.If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.

For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
