and say to them:“‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: On the day I chose Israel I swore to the descendants of the house of Jacob and made myself known to them in the land of Egypt. I swore to them,“ I am the LORD your God.”

對他們說，主耶和華如此說：當日我揀選以色列，向雅各家的後裔起誓，在埃及地將自己向他們顯現，說：我是耶和華－你們的神。

你要告訴他們，主耶和華這樣說，『我揀選以色列那日，曾向雅各家的後裔起誓，又在埃及向他們顯現，告訴他們我是他們的上帝耶和華。

對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：在我揀選以色列的日子，我向雅各家的後裔舉手起誓，又在埃及地向他們顯現。我向他們舉手起誓說：我是耶和華你們的神。

對他們說：主永恆主這麼說：當我揀選以色列的日子，我向雅各家的後裔舉手起誓，在埃及地使他們認識我；我向他們舉手起誓說：我乃是永恆主你們的上帝。

又告之曰、主耶和華云、我選以色列之日、誓於雅各家之裔、見於埃及地、曰、我乃爾之上帝耶和華、

爾當告之云、主耶和華曰、越在疇昔、我顯現於埃及、遴選以色列族雅各家、與之盟誓、曰、我耶和華、為爾之上帝、

告之曰、主天主如是云、昔我選以色列之日、為雅各家之苗裔發誓、在伊及地、向彼顯現、與之盟誓曰、我乃主爾之天主、

and say to them:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I chose Israel, I swore with uplifted hand to the descendants of Jacob and revealed myself to them in Egypt. With uplifted hand I said to them,“ I am the Lord your God.”

Tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ I chose Israel. On that day I raised my hand and made a promise. I made a promise to the members of Jacob’s family line. I made myself known to them in Egypt. I raised my hand and told them,‘ I am the Lord your God.’

and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: On the day when I chose Israel, I swore to the offspring of the house of Jacob, making myself known to them in the land of Egypt; I swore to them, saying, I am the Lord your God.

Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: When I chose Israel— when I revealed myself to the descendants of Jacob in Egypt— I took a solemn oath that I, the Lord, would be their God.

Say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: On the day I chose Israel, I swore an oath to the descendants of Jacob’s house and made myself known to them in the land of Egypt. I swore to them, saying,“ I am the LORD your God.”

and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ On the day when I chose Israel and swore to the descendants of the house of Jacob and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I swore to them, saying, I am the Lord your God,

“ Say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ On the day when I chose Israel and raised My hand in an oath to the descendants of the house of Jacob, and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt, I raised My hand in an oath to them, saying,‘ I am the Lord your God.’

and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day when I chose Israel, and sware unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I sware unto them, saying, I am Jehovah your God;

Say to them: This is what the Lord God says: On the day I chose Israel, I swore an oath to the descendants of Jacob’s house and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt. I swore to them, saying: I am Yahweh your God.

And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I[ am] the LORD your God;

Tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ In the day when I chose Israel, and swore to the offspring of the house of Jacob, and made myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I swore to them, saying,‘ I am Yahweh your God;’

I also swore to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them throughout the lands.

But Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I raise my hand to the LORD, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow

Therefore, tell the Israelites,‘ I am the LORD. I will bring you out from your enslavement to the Egyptians, I will rescue you from the hard labor they impose, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.I will take you to myself for a people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from your enslavement to the Egyptians.

For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. He has chosen you to be his people, prized above all others on the face of the earth.

You must divide it equally just as I vowed to give it to your forefathers; this land will be assigned as your inheritance.

I have come down to deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up from that land to a land that is both good and spacious, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the region of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

I also swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them to the land I had given them– a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands.

and the people believed. When they heard that the LORD had attended to the Israelites and that he had seen their affliction, they bowed down close to the ground.

He added,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.

God spoke to Moses and said to him,“ I am the LORD.

“ You, my servant Israel, Jacob whom I have chosen, offspring of Abraham my friend,you whom I am bringing back from the earth’s extremities, and have summoned from the remote regions– I told you,“ You are my servant.” I have chosen you and not rejected you.

The LORD revealed his faithful acts to Moses, his deeds to the Israelites.

“ Now, listen, Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen!”This is what the LORD, the one who made you, says– the one who formed you in the womb and helps you:“ Don’t be afraid, my servant Jacob, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen!

Or has God ever before tried to deliver a nation from the middle of another nation, accompanied by judgments, signs, wonders, war, strength, power, and other very terrifying things like the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?

“ I, the LORD, am your God, who brought you from the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery.“ You shall have no other gods before me.

Then the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven

‘ You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt and how I lifted you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.And now, if you will diligently listen to me and keep my covenant, then you will be my special possession out of all the nations, for all the earth is mine,and you will be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you will speak to the Israelites.”

For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. He has chosen you to be his people, prized above all others on the face of the earth.

And if the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would be saved. But because of the elect, whom he chose, he has cut them short.

Moreover, because he loved your ancestors, he chose their descendants who followed them and personally brought you out of Egypt with his great power

“ Go and bring together the elders of Israel and tell them,‘ The LORD, the God of your fathers, appeared to me– the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob– saying,“ I have attended carefully to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt,

Bear in mind today that I am not speaking to your children who have not personally experienced the judgments of the LORD your God, which revealed his greatness, strength, and power.They did not see the awesome deeds he performed in the midst of Egypt against Pharaoh king of Egypt and his whole land,or what he did to the army of Egypt, including their horses and chariots, when he made the waters of the Red Sea overwhelm them while they were pursuing you and he annihilated them.They did not see what he did to you in the desert before you reached this place,or what he did to Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab the Reubenite, when the earth opened its mouth in the middle of the Israelite camp and swallowed them, their families, their tents, and all the property they brought with them.I am speaking to you because you are the ones who saw all the great deeds of the LORD!

For I raise up my hand to heaven, and say,‘ As surely as I live forever,

How blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen to be his special possession.

You are my witnesses,” says the LORD,“ my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may consider and believe in me, and understand that I am he. No god was formed before me, and none will outlive me.

therefore, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, I will deal with you according to your anger, and according to your envy, by which you acted spitefully against them. I will reveal myself to them when I judge you.

“ You have surely noticed what these people are saying, haven’t you? They are saying,‘ The LORD has rejected the two families of Israel and Judah that he chose.’ So they have little regard that my people will ever again be a nation.
