“‘ As for you, O house of Israel, this is what the sovereign LORD says: Each of you go and serve your idols, if you will not listen to me. But my holy name will not be profaned again by your sacrifices and your idols.

“以色列家啊，至于你们，主耶和华如此说：从此以后若不听从我，就任凭你们去侍奉偶像，只是不可再因你们的供物和偶像亵渎我的圣名。

“你们，以色列家啊，主耶和华如此说：你们若不听从我，从今以后就让各人去事奉他的偶像吧，只是不可再以你们的供物和偶像亵渎我的圣名。

“你们，以色列家啊，主耶和华如此说：你们若不听从我，从今以后就让各人去事奉他的偶像吧，只是不可再以你们的供物和偶像亵渎我的圣名。

“主耶和华说，‘你们以色列人若不听我的话，就去供奉你们的偶像吧！但将来你们必不再向偶像献祭物亵渎我的圣名！’

以色列家啊，至于你们，主耶和华这样说：你们各人去事奉自己的偶像吧！只是将来你们必要听从我，不可再以你们的供物和偶像亵渎我的圣名。

「以色列家啊，至於你們，主耶和華如此說：從此以後若不聽從我，就任憑你們去事奉偶像，只是不可再因你們的供物和偶像褻瀆我的聖名。

「你們，以色列家啊，主耶和華如此說：你們若不聽從我，從今以後就讓各人去事奉他的偶像吧，只是不可再以你們的供物和偶像褻瀆我的聖名。

「你們，以色列家啊，主耶和華如此說：你們若不聽從我，從今以後就讓各人去事奉他的偶像吧，只是不可再以你們的供物和偶像褻瀆我的聖名。

「主耶和華說，『你們以色列人若不聽我的話，就去供奉你們的偶像吧！但將來你們必不再向偶像獻祭物褻瀆我的聖名！』

以色列家啊，至於你們，主耶和華這樣說：你們各人去事奉自己的偶像吧！只是將來你們必要聽從我，不可再以你們的供物和偶像褻瀆我的聖名。

『至於你們呢、以色列家啊，主永恆主這麼說，你們只管去、各人服事他的偶像吧！以後呢、你們若不聽從我，也隨你們的便！只是我的聖名、你們卻不可再用你們的供品和偶像來褻瀆啊！

以色列家歟、主耶和華論爾云、往哉、各事其偶像、惟後必聽從我、不復以禮物及偶像、玷我聖名、

主耶和華曰、爾曹以色列族、今而後有不從我命者、我聽其崇奉偶像、然不許爾既奉偶像、復獻禮物于我、瀆玩我聖名。

惟爾曹以色列族歟、主天主如是云、爾既不聽我、任爾各崇事偶像、惟勿復因爾之禮物及偶像、褻瀆我之聖名、

“‘ As for you, people of Israel, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Go and serve your idols, every one of you! But afterward you will surely listen to me and no longer profane my holy name with your gifts and idols.

“‘ “People of Israel, the Lord and King says,‘ Go, every one of you! Serve your gods. But later you will listen to me. You will no longer treat my name as if it were not holy. You will not offer sacrifices to other gods anymore.

“ As for you, O house of Israel, thus says the Lord God: Go serve every one of you his idols, now and hereafter, if you will not listen to me; but my holy name you shall no more profane with your gifts and your idols.

“ As for you, O people of Israel, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Go right ahead and worship your idols, but sooner or later you will obey me and will stop bringing shame on my holy name by worshiping idols.

“‘ As for you, house of Israel, this is what the Lord GOD says: Go and serve your idols, each of you. But afterward you will surely listen to me, and you will no longer defile my holy name with your gifts and idols.

“ As for you, house of Israel,” this is what the Lord God says:“ Go, serve, everyone of you his idols; but later you will certainly listen to Me, and My holy name you will no longer defile with your gifts and your idols.

“ As for you, O house of Israel,” thus says the Lord GOD:“ Go, serve every one of you his idols— and hereafter— if you will not obey me; but profane My holy name no more with your gifts and your idols.

As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Go ye, serve every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me; but my holy name shall ye no more profane with your gifts, and with your idols.

“ As for you, house of Israel, this is what the Lord God says: Go and serve your idols, each of you. But afterward you will surely listen to Me, and you will no longer defile My holy name with your gifts and idols.

As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter[ also], if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.

“‘ As for you, house of Israel, the Lord Yahweh says:“ Go, everyone serve his idols, and hereafter also, if you will not listen to me; but you shall no more profane my holy name with your gifts and with your idols.

He said to me:“ Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet, where I will live among the people of Israel forever. The house of Israel will no longer profane my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their spiritual prostitution or by the pillars of their kings set up when they die.

I also gave them decrees which were not good and regulations by which they could not live.I declared them to be defiled because of their sacrifices– they caused all their first born to pass through the fire– so that I would devastate them, so that they will know that I am the LORD.’

Go and cry for help to the gods you have chosen! Let them deliver you from trouble!”

Do not bring any more meaningless offerings; I consider your incense detestable! You observe new moon festivals, Sabbaths, and convocations, but I cannot tolerate sin-stained celebrations!I hate your new moon festivals and assemblies; they are a burden that I am tired of carrying.When you spread out your hands in prayer, I look the other way; when you offer your many prayers, I do not listen, because your hands are covered with blood.

For they have committed adultery and blood is on their hands. They have committed adultery with their idols, and their sons, whom they bore to me, they have passed through the fire as food to their idols.Moreover, they have done this to me: In the very same day they desecrated my sanctuary and profaned my Sabbaths.On the same day they slaughtered their sons for their idols, they came to my sanctuary to desecrate it. This is what they have done in the middle of my house.

The LORD God of Israel who rules over all says,‘ You women have confirmed by your actions what you vowed with your lips! You said,“ We will certainly carry out our vows to sacrifice and pour out drink offerings to the Queen of Heaven.” Well, then fulfill your vows! Carry them out!’But listen to what the LORD has to say, all you people of Judah who are living in the land of Egypt. The LORD says,‘ I hereby swear by my own great name that none of the people of Judah who are living anywhere in Egypt will ever again invoke my name in their oaths! Never again will any of them use it in an oath saying,“ As surely as the Lord GOD lives….”

The wicked person’s sacrifice is an abomination; how much more when he brings it with evil intent!

Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor their bodies among themselves.They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones,and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed in their passions for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done.

Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.

I gave them over to their stubborn desires; they did what seemed right to them.

“ Go to Bethel and rebel! At Gilgal rebel some more! Bring your sacrifices in the morning, your tithes on the third day!Burn a thank offering of bread made with yeast! Make a public display of your voluntary offerings! For you love to do this, you Israelites.” The sovereign LORD is speaking!

Ephraim has attached himself to idols; Do not go near him!

Elisha said to the king of Israel,“ Why are you here? Go to your father’s prophets or your mother’s prophets!” The king of Israel replied to him,“ No, for the LORD is the one who summoned these three kings so that he can hand them over to Moab.”

‘ I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either cold or hot!So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of my mouth!

“ I will attack Judah and all who live in Jerusalem. I will remove from this place every trace of Baal worship, as well as the very memory of the pagan priests.I will remove those who worship the stars in the sky from their rooftops, those who swear allegiance to the LORD while taking oaths in the name of their‘ king,’

The one who slaughters a bull also strikes down a man; the one who sacrifices a lamb also breaks a dog’s neck; the one who presents an offering includes pig’s blood with it; the one who offers incense also praises an idol. They have decided to behave this way; they enjoy these disgusting practices.

“ No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

You steal. You murder. You commit adultery. You lie when you swear on oath. You sacrifice to the god Baal. You pay allegiance to other gods whom you have not previously known.Then you come and stand in my presence in this temple I have claimed as my own and say,“ We are safe!” You think you are so safe that you go on doing all those hateful sins!Do you think this temple I have claimed as my own is to be a hideout for robbers? You had better take note! I have seen for myself what you have done! says the LORD.
