惟以色列家在曠野、悖逆乎我、不循我典章、棄我律例、人若遵行、則緣之得生、且犯我安息日特甚、我則曰、必在曠野、傾我怒以滅之、

然以色列族在曠野、違逆乎我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、浸假有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼藐視之、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

“‘ Yet the people of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They did not follow my decrees but rejected my laws— by which the person who obeys them will live— and they utterly desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and destroy them in the wilderness.

“‘ “But in the desert the people of Israel refused to obey me. They did not follow my rules. They turned their backs on my laws. The person who obeys them will live by them. They totally misused my Sabbath days. So I said I would pour out my great anger on them. I would destroy them in the desert.

But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They did not walk in my statutes but rejected my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; and my Sabbaths they greatly profaned.“ Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them in the wilderness, to make a full end of them.

“ But the people of Israel rebelled against me, and they refused to obey my decrees there in the wilderness. They wouldn’t obey my regulations even though obedience would have given them life. They also violated my Sabbath days. So I threatened to pour out my fury on them, and I made plans to utterly consume them in the wilderness.

“‘ But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They did not follow my statutes and they rejected my ordinances— the person who does them will live by them. They also completely profaned my Sabbaths. So I considered pouring out my wrath on them in the wilderness to put an end to them.

They did not walk in My statutes and they rejected My ordinances, which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them; and they greatly profaned My Sabbaths. Then I resolved to pour out My wrath on them in the wilderness, to annihilate them.

在何烈爾干主怒、主甚怒爾、欲殲滅爾、

主諭摩西曰、斯民棄我、何時乃已、我在其中、行諸異跡、彼仍不我信、何時乃已、我欲降疫癘以翦滅之、使爾成為大族、較彼強盛、

爾曹怨我、故凡爾見數者、自二十歲以上、屍骸俱仆於曠野、

爾且聽我、我將震怒而盡滅之、使爾後裔成為大族、

此眾人雖已見我之榮光、亦見我在伊及與曠野所行之異跡、猶且試我至於十次、不聽我言、

主諭我曰、爾速起、離此而下、爾之民爾所導出伊及者、已自敗壞、速離我所命之之道、為己鑄偶像、主又諭我曰、我見此民、為強項之民、爾姑聽我、我殲滅之、塗其名於天下、使爾後裔成為大族、較彼強大、我轉而下山、山上之火炎炎、約之二板在我兩手、我見爾獲罪於主爾之天主、為己鑄犢像、速離主所命爾之道、我將二板擲之由手中、碎於爾目前、爾既犯罪、行惡於主前、干犯其怒、我又如昔伏於主前四十晝夜、不食餅、不飲水、因主怒爾特甚、氣忿震烈、欲殲滅爾、我甚畏懼、此次主又俯聽我、主亦甚怒亞倫、欲殲滅之、斯時我亦為亞倫祈禱、爾取罪之物、即所作之犢像、我焚之以火、擣碎磨細、成為細塵、以其塵灑於由山流下之溪、爾在他備拉、瑪撒、基博羅特哈他瓦、干犯主怒、主遣爾離迦叠巴尼亞、命爾曰、爾當前往得我所賜爾之地、斯時爾違逆主爾天主之命、而不之信、不聽其言、自我識爾之日、爾常違逆主、

主如是云、猶大人犯罪、至三至四、更藐視主之律法、不守其律例、其祖崇事虛偽、彼亦為斯虛偽所迷、故我降罰以報之、必不挽回、

藐視我之律例、心厭我之法度、不遵我諸誡命而違我約、

故凡拒者、非拒人、乃拒天主、即以其聖神賜我儕者、○

至第七日、民中有出以斂者、果無所得、主諭摩西曰、爾曹不守我誡命律法、將至幾時乎、

閱時未久、又忘主之作為、不候主之意旨、在曠野有貪心、在荒墟試探天主、天主即如其所欲以給之、又使瘟疫臨及其身、彼在營中嫉妒摩西、嫉妒主所選之聖人亞倫、地開口吞大坍、掩覆亞比蘭之黨、烈火燒其黨羽、火焰焚燬惡人、民在何烈、鑄造牛犢、崇拜所鑄之形像、以囓草蠢牛之像、當作其榮耀之主、忘卻救之之天主、天主曾行大事在伊及、行奇事在含國、行可畏之事在紅海、惟時主云將翦滅之、幸有主所選之摩西、立於主前、挽回主怒、不行誅戮、民又藐視美地、不信服主言、在幕內發怨辭、弗聽主言、於是主舉手而誓、必使之仆亡曠野、將其子孫分投列邦、驅散列國、民又依附巴力毘珥、食供亡者之祭物、行事干犯主怒、即有瘟疫流行其間、非尼哈興起、施行刑罰、瘟疫即息、此事稱為非尼哈之義、至於永遠、民在米利巴水干犯主怒、摩西亦因之遭遇患難、因民觸動摩西怒氣、致摩西口出妄言、

速離我所命之之道、鑄犢崇拜祭祀、且云以色列人歟、此即導爾出伊及之神、

斯民自我導之出伊及、至於今日、恆棄我、服事他神、彼之待爾亦若是、

因彼藐視我之法度、不遵我之律例、犯我之安息日、心從其偶像、

此乃以薩迦支派之各族、被數者六萬四千三百、○

我知爾曹違逆強項、我今日尚存與爾同在、爾猶違逆主、況於我死後乎、

爾曹離此會眾、我將頃刻間滅之、二人俯伏於地、

若有犯摩西律法者、二三人作證、必殺之無赦、況蹂躪天主之子、以使人成聖之約之血為不潔、又侮慢施恩之聖神、爾意其人應受之刑、當如何重哉、

因其藐視主言、違逆主命、罪必歸之、必被翦滅、○以色列人居曠野時、遇一人於安息日採薪、遇之者解之至摩西亞倫與會眾前、囚之於獄、因尚未擬定何以處治、主諭摩西曰、其人必當治死、會眾當於營外擊之以石、於是會眾曳之營外、以石擊之死、遵主所命摩西者、○

彼等藐視我法度心厭我律例、乃至遠離斯地、使土地於荒涼無人之時、得享安息、直待彼等服罪、

彼在曠野、叠次悖逆主、在荒墟干犯主之盛怒、再三試探天主、使以色列之聖主心甚不悅、

當時之民、即我列祖、狂妄強項、不聽主命、不欲順從、不追念主為其所行之奇事、強項背逆、自立一長、欲返為奴之地、惟主為天主赦宥、仁慈、矜憐、容忍、大施恩惠、仍不棄之、雖鑄牛犢、彼此曰、此即導爾出伊及之神、行大褻瀆之事、行大褻瀆之事或作行事大干主怒下同

惟彼悖逆、使主之聖神懷憂、主則視之如敵而攻擊之、

主曰、爾曹勿剛愎乃心、如昔在米利巴、在曠野之瑪撒時、彼時爾曹列祖、雖見我之作為、仍試我探我、彼世代四十年間、激我厭惡、我曰、彼乃心中偏邪之民、不明我道、我遂震怒而誓曰、必不容其人享我安息、

藐視教言者、必致敗亡、敬畏誡命者、必得善報、

何藐視我我原文作主命、行惡於我我原文作主前、藉亞捫人之刀、殺赫人烏利亞而娶其妻為妻、

我一切勸教之言、爾皆背棄、不受我之督責、
