遂遣其徒、同希律黨、就之云、先生、我知爾乃真者、以誠傳上帝道、不偏視人、不以貌取人者也、

以色列長老數人、咸來詣我、坐於我前。耶和華諭我曰、人子、斯人之於偶像、中則崇敬之、外則瞻禮之、自陷於惡、豈得諮諏於我乎。

以利沙告以色列王曰、我與爾何與、爾父母亦有先知、可往問焉。以色列王曰、請毋言是、我知耶和華已集三王、付之與摩押人手。

既至王前、王曰、米該亞歟、我欲攻基列之喇末、行止若何。曰、往可獲勝、蓋耶和華必使彼敗於王手。王曰、我豈不屢使爾、奉耶和華命、當以真實告我乎。曰、我觀以色列族眾、散布山谷、猶羊無牧、耶和華曰、此無其主、當各安歸。以色列王語約沙法曰、我豈不云、彼所預言、有凶無吉。米該亞曰、請聽耶和華之命、我觀耶和華坐於其位、萬天使侍左右。耶和華曰、誰能誘亞哈、使往基列之喇末、殞沒其命。眾天使所陳之詞不一。有神越班而出、侍耶和華前曰、我將誘之。曰誘之若何。曰、我將感其先知、胥動以浮言。曰、往哉、行此、爾必誘之、以成爾志。今有神感爾之先知、使之浮言、耶和華聽之。然耶和華有言、必降災於王。基拿拿子西底家前批其頰曰、耶和華之神離我以指示爾、由於何途、米該亞曰、後日爾入室自匿、則可知也。以色列王曰、解米該亞於邑宰亞門、及王子約轄所、告之曰、王命拘幽此人、供餅給水、使嘗艱苦、迨我安歸。米該亞曰、如爾安歸、則我未奉耶和華之命、又曰、斯民之眾、宜共聽聞、

三日後、遇於殿、坐先生中、且聽且問焉、

其姊妹馬利亞、坐耶穌足下、聽道、

人子、爾民在垣墉之側、門閾之間、彼此相語、指爾而言曰、來聽耶和華所傳之諭、彼既至、坐於爾前、若我民然、聽爾言而不行、口所言則愛爾不置、其心貪婪、彼聞爾言、若聞善謳者、發其清歌善樂者、操其妙音、彼聽爾言、而弗遵行、是事既成、我言已應、則可知先知已至民間。
