Again, when a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life.

如惡人轉離所行之惡、循法合理、必保其生、

如惡人悛改素行、孳孳為義、則可得生、

如惡人悛改所行之惡、為義行善、必保其生命、

But if a wicked person turns away from the wickedness they have committed and does what is just and right, they will save their life.

But suppose a sinful person turns away from the evil things they have done. And they do what is fair and right. Then they will save their life.

And if wicked people turn from their wickedness, obey the law, and do what is just and right, they will save their lives.

But if a wicked person turns from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he will preserve his life.

But when a wicked person turns away from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life.

Go and learn what this means:‘ I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,

but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance.

“ What do you think? A man had two sons. And he answered,‘ I go, sir,’ but did not go.Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said,“ The first.” Jesus said to them,“ Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes go into the kingdom of God before you.For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw it, you did not afterward change your minds and believe him.

And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying,“ Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”

He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life.

Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.
