『因為猶大王瑪拿西行這些可厭惡的事、比他以前的亞摩利人一切所行的更壞，並且用他的偶像使猶大人犯了罪；

『在撒瑪利亞山的巴珊母牛啊，你們要聽這話！你們欺壓貧寒，壓碎窮苦，對你們的丈夫說：「拿來，我們喫喝吧！」

不在山上喫祭偶像之物，不舉目瞻仰以色列家的偶像，不玷污鄰舍的妻，不親近經期污穢中的婦人，不虧負人，總把債務的當頭交還；他不搶奪人的物件，卻將自己的食物給了饑餓的人，將衣服給赤身裸體的人遮身；

他們結的網不能做衣服，他們也不能用所作的去遮蓋自己；他們所作的都是奸惡的作為；強暴的行為就在他們手中。他們的腳奔跑行壞事；他們很快捷流着無辜人的血；他們的意圖是奸惡的意圖在他們的路上都是毁滅和破壞。

從前以色列王所羅門在耶路撒冷東面毁滅山南邊、為西頓人可憎的神亞斯他錄、摩押人可憎的神基抹、亞捫人可厭惡的神米勒公、所建築的邱壇、王都使那些邱壇成了凡俗。

嘿，作買賣的！他手裏有詭詐的天平，他愛敲竹槓騙人。

但你的眼你的心卻不顧別的，只顧你的不義之財，逕流無辜人之血，直行欺壓人壓制人的事。

故此你們要守我的律例和典章；這一切可厭惡的事、無論是本地人、是在你們中間寄居的外僑、都不可作，（因為這一切可厭惡的事、在你們以前那地的人都行了，而地就蒙了不潔；）免得你們使那地蒙不潔時、地就把你們吐出，像吐出你們以前的列國人一樣。因為凡作這些可厭惡之事的任一樣的、無論何人都必須從他們族人中被剪除。所以你們要守我所吩咐守的，免得你們實行這些可厭惡的規例、就是你們以前的人所作的、因而蒙了不潔；我永恆主是你們的上帝。』

不可和男的同寢，像和女人同寢一樣；那是可厭惡的。
