常在庙宇吃祭偶像之物，玷污别人的妻子，

而那些善事他卻不行，因為他也在山上喫了祭偶像之物，他鄰舍的妻他也玷污了；

不行上所言之善、食於山、污其鄰之妻、

( though the father has done none of them):“ He eats at the mountain shrines. He defiles his neighbor’s wife.

Suppose he does these things even though his father never did.“ Suppose the son eats at the mountain temples. And he sleeps with another man’s wife.

( though he himself did none of these things), who even eats upon the mountains, defiles his neighbor’s wife,

And that son does all the evil things his father would never do— he worships idols on the mountains, commits adultery,

though the father has done none of them. Indeed, when the son eats at the mountain shrines and defiles his neighbor’s wife,

( though he himself did not do any of these things), that is, he even eats at the mountain shrines, and defiles his neighbor’s wife,

And does none of those duties, But has eaten on the mountains Or defiled his neighbor’s wife;

and that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbor’s wife,

though the father has done none of them. Indeed, when the son eats at the mountain shrines and defiles his neighbor’s wife,

And that doeth not any of those[ duties], but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour’s wife,

( though the father did not do any of them). He eats pagan sacrifices on the mountains, defiles his neighbor’s wife,

or who does not do any of those things, but even has eaten at the mountain shrines, and defiled his neighbor’s wife,

反倒回来，在耶和华吩咐你不可吃饭喝水的地方，吃了饭喝了水，因此，你的尸体不能入葬你列祖的坟墓里。’”

“不是每一个对我说：‘主啊，主啊！’的人，都能进入天国，唯有遵行我天父旨意的人，才能进去。到那日，必有许多人对我说：‘主啊，主啊！难道我们没有奉你的名讲道，奉你的名赶鬼，奉你的名行过许多神迹吗？’但我必向他们声明：‘我从来不认识你们；你们这些作恶的人，离开我去吧！’“所以，凡听见我这些话又遵行的，就像聪明的人，把自己的房子盖在磐石上。雨淋、水冲、风吹，摇撼那房子，房子却不倒塌，因为建基在磐石上。凡听见我这些话却不遵行的，就像愚蠢的人，把自己的房子盖在沙土上。雨淋、水冲、风吹，摇撼那房子，房子就倒塌了，并且倒塌得很厉害。”

你们在我身上所学习、所领受、所听见、所看见的，这些事你们都应当实行；那么，赐平安的神就必与你们同在。

神人对王说：“你就是把王宫的一半给我，我也不会与你回去，也不在这地方吃饭喝水。

那些洗净自己袍子的人是有福的！他们可以有权到生命树那里，也可以从门进到城里。

凡我们所求的，就必从他得着，因为我们遵守他的命令，作他所喜悦的事。

他不在山上吃祭肉，眼目不仰望以色列家的偶像，不玷污邻舍的妻子；

你们若行我所吩咐你们的，就是我的朋友了。

他不在山上吃祭肉，眼目也不仰望以色列家的偶像，不玷污邻舍的妻子，不亲近在经期中的妇人；不欺压任何人，把欠债人的抵押归还；他不抢夺人的物件，却把自己的食物给饥饿的人，把衣服给赤身的人穿着；

你们既然知道这些事，如果去实行，就有福了。

他说：“是的，却还不如听神的道而遵守的人有福。”

照样，如果只有信心，没有行为，这信心就是死的。
