『你要對叛逆之家說：你們不知道這些事是甚麼意思麼？你要告訴他們說：看哪，巴比倫王曾經來到耶路撒冷，將其中的王和首領帶到巴比倫自己那裏。

謂悖逆之家云、斯事之旨、爾不知之乎、宜告之曰、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、虜其君王牧伯、攜至巴比倫、

當告違逆之族、云、爾知是乎、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、虜其王公牧伯、至於巴比倫、

“ Say to this rebellious people,‘ Do you not know what these things mean?’ Say to them:‘ The king of Babylon went to Jerusalem and carried off her king and her nobles, bringing them back with him to Babylon.

“ These people refuse to obey me. Ask them,‘ Don’t you know what these things mean?’ Tell them,‘ Nebuchadnezzar went to Jerusalem. He was the king of Babylon. He carried off King Jehoiachin and the nobles. He brought them back with him to the city of Babylon.

“ Say now to the rebellious house, Do you not know what these things mean? Tell them, behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took her king and her princes and brought them to him to Babylon.

“ Say to these rebels of Israel: Don’t you understand the meaning of this riddle of the eagles? The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took away her king and princes, and brought them to Babylon.

“ Now say to that rebellious house,‘ Don’t you know what these things mean?’ Tell them,‘ The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took its king and officials, and brought them back with him to Babylon.

“ Say now to the rebellious house:‘ Do you not know what these things mean?’ Tell them,‘ Indeed the king of Babylon went to Jerusalem and took its king and princes, and led them with him to Babylon.

Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and brought them to him to Babylon.

“ Now say to that rebellious house: Don’t you know what these things mean? Tell them: The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took its king and officials, and brought them back with him to Babylon.

民問我曰、爾如是以行、與我何與、請以告我、

乃約雅斤被擄五年四月五日、

告之曰、主天主如是云、有一巨鷹、翼大羽長、翎毛豐滿、采色俱備、至利巴嫩、在柏香木巔取柏香木之枝、

我使爾額堅如金剛石、較火石猶堅、彼忤逆之族、勿懼其眾、勿畏其威、勿畏其威或作勿於其前驚惶○

耶穌曰、爾曹亦不悟乎、豈不知凡入諸口者、運於腹而遺於厠乎、

諭我曰、人子、我遣爾就以色列人、即悖逆之族、悖逆我者、彼與其列祖獲罪於我、迄於今日、其為人人原文作子面無羞恥、其心剛愎、我遣爾至其所、以主天主之言告之、以主天主之言告之原文作當告之曰主天主如是云彼忤逆之族、無論聽否、必知有先知於其中、

爾之子孫、由爾所生者、為人所擄、在巴比倫王宮為宦豎、

主曰、我指己永生而誓、爾猶大王約雅敬子哥尼亞、哥尼亞又名耶哥尼亞下同雖為我右掌中之印、我右掌中之印或作我右手上之印環亦必自彼除爾而棄、付爾於爾所懼索爾命者之手、即巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、及迦勒底人之手、我必驅爾、及生爾之母、至於異邦、非爾故土、非爾故土原文作非爾所生之地必死於彼、切慕故土、欲歸不得歸、斯人哥尼亞、豈已毀之瓦器、瓦器或作偶像為人所藐視乎、豈已棄之器皿、為人所不悅乎、彼及子孫、何為被驅逐驅逐原文作投至素未識之地、

又謂之曰、此喻爾尚不達、何以識眾喻乎、

門徒未達此言、蓋其意隱蔽不能悟、又不敢以此言問之、○

此石可於爾中為證、日後倘爾子孫問爾曰、此石何意、

人子、以色列族、即斯悖逆之族、必問爾曰、爾何為、爾當告之曰、主天主如是云、此若預言、預示耶路撒冷之君、及其中以色列全族、將來所遇之事、告之曰、我以西結乃爾之預兆、我所為者、爾爾原文作彼將來所遇者亦若是、必遷徙遠方、被擄而去、

約雅斤即位時、年八歲、列王下二十四章八節作十八歲都耶路撒冷、在位三月有一旬、行惡於主前、歲暮、尼布甲尼撒遣人攜約雅斤至巴比倫、亦擄掠主殿諸珍器、立約雅斤叔叔原文作兄西底家、為猶大及耶路撒冷王、○

惟爾人子、聽我所諭爾、爾勿忤逆、若彼忤逆之族、啟口食我所賜爾者、

天乎聽哉、地其傾聞、因主有言曰、我養子而撫之、彼反忤逆乎我、

腓立趨就之、聞其讀先知以賽亞書、乃問曰、爾所讀者明否、

是時、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之軍、軍旅原文作臣僕下同上至耶路撒冷、於是城被圍困、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之軍旅、圍城時、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒親至以攻城、巴比倫王第八年、猶大王約雅斤偕其母與臣僕、牧伯、宦官、皆出而降巴比倫王、巴比倫王執之、巴比倫王遂將主殿府庫之寶物、及王宮府庫之寶物、自城中攜之去、又將主殿諸金器、即以色列王所羅門所作者、悉毀之、又將主殿諸金器即以色列王所羅門所作者悉毀之或作又將以色列王所羅門在主殿所飾之金悉剝而取之應主所言、又將耶路撒冷之民眾、諸牧伯、諸有勇之戰士、並一切工匠及鐵工、計一萬人、悉擄之去、所遺者惟貧民而已、將約雅斤擄至巴比倫、王之母、王之后妃、及其宦官、並國中大夫、皆自耶路撒冷擄至巴比倫、軍兵七千、工匠與鐵工一千、皆皆或作及諸能戰之勇士、巴比倫王俱擄至巴比倫、

謂以色列人曰、日後倘爾子孫問長上曰、此石何意、

日後爾子若問爾日、主我之天主所諭爾此諸律法禮儀法度、其意云何、

如爾子孫問曰、爾行此禮何故、
