我過而見爾時、乃相愛之際、則以衣襟覆爾、蔽爾裸體、與爾誓約、爾則歸我、主耶和華言之矣、

主耶和華曰、我過而見汝、若女及笄、我以裾覆爾、締結姻盟、于歸乎我。

主天主曰、我從爾旁經過以觀爾、見爾已長、可以于歸、遂以衣裾覆爾、遮爾赤體、向爾發誓、與爾結盟、俾爾歸於我、

“‘ Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

“‘ “Later, I was passing by again. I looked at you. I saw that you were old enough for love. So I married you and took good care of you. I covered your naked body. I made a firm promise to you. I entered into a covenant with you. And you became mine,” announces the Lord and King.

“ When I passed by you again and saw you, behold, you were at the age for love, and I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness; I made my vow to you and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Lord God, and you became mine.

And when I passed by again, I saw that you were old enough for love. So I wrapped my cloak around you to cover your nakedness and declared my marriage vows. I made a covenant with you, says the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

“‘ Then I passed by you and saw you, and you were indeed at the age for love. So I spread the edge of my garment over you and covered your nakedness. I pledged myself to you, entered into a covenant with you— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— and you became mine.

“ Then I passed by you and saw you, and behold, you were at the time for love; so I spread My garment over you and covered your nakedness. I also swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you so that you became Mine,” declares the Lord God.

“ When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” says the Lord God.

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord Jehovah, and thou becamest mine.

“ Then I passed by you and saw you, and you were indeed at the age for love. So I spread the edge of My garment over you and covered your nakedness. I pledged Myself to you, entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

“‘ Then I passed by you and watched you, noticing that you had reached the age for love. I spread my cloak over you and covered your nakedness. I swore a solemn oath to you and entered into a marriage covenant with you, declares the sovereign LORD, and you became mine.

“‘“ Now when I passed by you, and looked at you, behold, your time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over you, and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore to you, and entered into a covenant with you,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ and you became mine.

「你去向耶路撒冷居民的耳朵呼喊，耶和華如此說：『你年輕時的恩愛，新婚時的愛情，你怎樣在曠野，在未耕種之地跟隨我，我都記得。那時以色列歸耶和華為聖，作為他初熟的土產；凡吞吃它的必算為有罪，災禍必臨到他們。這是耶和華說的。』」

『我向埃及人所行的事，你們都看見了，我如鷹將你們背在翅膀上，帶你們來歸我。如今你們若真的聽從我的話，遵守我的約，就要在萬民中作屬我的子民，因為全地都是我的。你們要歸我作祭司的國度，為神聖的國民。』這些話你要告訴以色列人。」摩西去召了百姓中的長老來，將耶和華吩咐他的話當面告訴他們。百姓都同聲回答：「凡耶和華所說的，我們一定遵行。」摩西就將百姓的話回覆耶和華。

「因為你是屬於耶和華－你上帝神聖的子民；耶和華－你的上帝從地面上的萬民中揀選你，作自己寶貴的子民。耶和華專愛你們，揀選你們，並非因你們人數比任何民族多，其實你們的人數在各民族中是最少的。因為耶和華愛你們，又因要遵守他向你們列祖所起的誓，耶和華就用大能的手領你們出來，救贖你脫離為奴之家，脫離埃及王法老的手。

惟有基督在我們還作罪人的時候為我們死，上帝的愛就在此向我們顯明了。

求你記念你的僕人亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列。你曾向他們指着自己起誓說：『我必使你們的後裔像天上的星那樣多，並且我要將所應許的這全地賜給你們的後裔，讓他們永遠承受為業。』」

耶和華－你的上帝是有憐憫的上帝，他不撇下你，不滅絕你，也不忘記他起誓與你列祖所立的約。

「我從你旁邊經過，見你在血中打滾，就對你說：『你雖在血中，卻要活下去！』我又說：『你雖在血中，卻要活下去！』

耶和華必因他大名的緣故不撇棄他的子民，因為耶和華喜悅你們作他的子民。

你要對他們說，主耶和華如此說：當日我揀選以色列，對雅各家的後裔起誓，在埃及地向他們顯現，起誓說：我是耶和華－你們的上帝；那日我向他們起誓，要領他們出埃及地，到我為他們所找到的流奶與蜜之地，就是全地中最美好之地。

耶和華對摩西說：「你和亞倫、拿答、亞比戶，以及以色列長老中的七十人，都要上到耶和華這裏來，遠遠地下拜。只有摩西可以接近耶和華，其他的人卻不可接近；百姓也不可和他一同上來。」摩西下山，向百姓陳述耶和華一切的命令和典章。眾百姓齊聲說：「耶和華所吩咐的一切，我們都必遵行。」摩西將耶和華一切的命令都寫下來。他清早起來，在山腳築了一座壇，按着以色列十二支派立了十二根石柱。他差派以色列的年輕人去獻燔祭，又宰牛獻給耶和華為平安祭。摩西將血的一半盛在盆中，另一半灑在壇上。然後，他拿起約書來，念給百姓聽。他們說：「耶和華所吩咐的一切，我們都必遵行，也必聽從。」摩西把血灑在百姓身上，說：「看哪！這是立約的血，是耶和華按照這一切的命令和你們立約的憑據。」

以色列年幼的時候，我愛他，就從埃及召我的兒子出來。

惟你以色列，我的僕人，雅各，我所揀選的，我朋友亞伯拉罕的後裔，你是我從地極領來，從地角召來的，我對你說：「你是我的僕人；我揀選你，並不棄絕你。」

我要照耶和華一切所賜給我們的，並他憑憐憫與豐盛的慈愛所賜給以色列家的大恩，述說他的慈愛和美德。他說：「他們誠然是我的百姓，未行虛假的子民。」這樣，他就作了他們的救主。他們在一切苦難當中，他也同受苦難，並且他面前的使者拯救他們。他以慈愛和憐憫救贖他們，在古時的日子時常抱他們，背他們。

當那日，我必為我的百姓，與野地的走獸、天空的飛鳥和地上爬行的動物立約；又要在國中折斷弓和刀，止息戰爭，使他們安然躺臥。我必聘你永遠歸我為妻，以公義、公平、慈愛、憐憫聘你歸我；也以信實聘你歸我，你就必認識耶和華。

耶和華從遠方向我顯現：「我以永遠的愛愛你，因此，我以慈愛吸引你。」

這約不像我拉着他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約。我雖作他們的丈夫，他們卻背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。

不但如此，利百加也是這樣。她從一個人，就是從我們的祖宗以撒懷了孕。雙胞胎還沒有生下來，善惡還沒有行出來，為要貫徹上帝揀選人的旨意，不是憑着人的行為，而是憑着那呼召人的，上帝就對利百加說：「將來，大的要服侍小的。」正如經上所記：「雅各是我所愛的；以掃是我所惡的。」

耶和華說：「我曾愛你們。」你們卻說：「你在何事上愛我們呢？」耶和華說：「以掃不是雅各的哥哥嗎？我卻愛雅各，
