你欲海难填，又跟亚述人行淫，但仍不满足，

你因贪色无厌，又与亚述人行淫，与他们行淫之后，仍不满意，

你尚且不满意，又与亚述人行淫，但与他们行淫之后，仍不满足；

你尚且不满意，又与亚述人行淫，但与他们行淫之后，仍不满足；

可是，因为你还不满足，又与亚述人行淫；你与他们行淫之后，还是不满足。

你因貪色無厭，又與亞述人行淫，與他們行淫之後，仍不滿意，

你尚且不滿意，又與亞述人行淫，但與他們行淫之後，仍不滿足；

可是，因為你還不滿足，又與亞述人行淫；你與他們行淫之後，還是不滿足。

爾行淫無度、與亞述人私、縱欲無厭、

爾行淫無度、故與亞述人私、大縱厥欲、靡有底止。

爾淫慾無厭、與亞述人行淫、與彼行淫之後、猶不厭足、

Moreover, you committed prostitution with the Assyrians because you were not satisfied; you committed prostitution with them and still were not satisfied.

You also played the harlot with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied.

Thou hast played the harlot also with the Assyrians, because thou wast insatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet thou wast not satisfied.

Then you engaged in prostitution with the Assyrian men because you were not satisfied. Even though you did this with them, you were still not satisfied.

Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.

You engaged in prostitution with the Assyrians because your sexual desires were insatiable; you prostituted yourself with them and yet you were still not satisfied.

You have played the prostitute also with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; yes, you have played the prostitute with them, and yet you weren’t satisfied.

亚哈斯差遣使者去见亚述王提革拉·毗列色，对他说：“我是你的仆人、你的儿子，现在亚兰王和以色列王攻打我，求你从他们手中拯救我。”

它要被带到亚述去，作为贡物献给强大的亚述王。以法莲因此而受人嘲笑，以色列因自己的偶像而蒙羞。

亚哈斯王在大马士革见亚述王提革拉·毗列色的时候，看到一座坛，便派人将坛的模型和详细的制造方法送到乌利亚祭司那里。乌利亚祭司按照送来的模型，在亚哈斯王返回之前建造了一座坛。王从大马士革回来，看见那座坛，就到上面献祭。他在上面献上燔祭、素祭和奠祭，又将平安祭祭牲的血洒在坛上。他把献给耶和华的铜坛从耶和华的殿前搬到新坛的北边，铜坛原来放在殿和新坛之间。他吩咐乌利亚祭司：“要在这座大坛上献早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，国中民众的燔祭、素祭和奠祭，燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血也要洒在上面，但铜坛要供我个人求问之用。”乌利亚祭司遵命而行。亚哈斯王拆掉盆座的镶板，搬走盆，将铜海从铜牛背上搬下来，放在铺石的地上。为了亚述王，他挪走耶和华殿里为安息日而盖的走廊，封闭了王从外面进耶和华殿的入口。

现在，你去埃及喝尼罗河的水有什么用呢？你去亚述喝幼发拉底河的水有什么用呢？

你们为什么这样忽东忽西地变来变去呢？你们投奔埃及必蒙羞辱，就像从前投奔亚述一样。

竟去祭拜打败他的大马士革人的神明，说：“既然亚兰王的神明帮助了亚兰人，我要向这些神明献祭，以便它们帮助我。”但那些神明导致了他和全体以色列人的灭亡。

后来，以色列人又做耶和华视为恶的事，祭拜巴力和亚斯她录，又拜亚兰、西顿、摩押、亚扪和非利士的神明。他们背弃耶和华，不再事奉祂。

亚述王提革拉·毗列色来到犹大后，不但不救他，反而压迫他。亚哈斯从耶和华的殿里、王宫和官员家中取财宝送给亚述王，但无济于事。

那时，亚哈斯王派人到亚述王那里求援。

她贪恋亚述的省长和总督，那些衣着华丽、英俊的年轻骑士。我看见她玷污了自己，与姐姐的行径如出一辙。她还变本加厉地放荡淫乱，看见墙上用朱砂画着迦勒底人的像，腰间束带，头巾飘扬，都像是来自迦勒底的巴比伦人的将领，便恋上了他们，差遣使者到他们那里。巴比伦人便来上她的床，放纵情欲玷污了她。之后，她便厌弃他们。她继续公开地淫乱，在众人面前赤身露体，我厌弃她，像厌弃她姐姐一样。她却更加淫乱，怀念自己年轻时在埃及为娼的日子，怎样与那些体壮精足、如驴似马的情人纵淫，渴望重温早年的淫行，任埃及人摸胸弄乳。

“阿荷拉归属我后仍然淫乱，贪恋她的情人——亚述人。他们都是身穿紫衣的省长和总督，都是英俊的年轻骑士。她便与这些亚述的精英放纵情欲，拜他们的偶像，玷污自己。她没有放弃在埃及的淫荡行为，她年轻的时候就任人玩弄、发泄情欲。因此，我把她交在她所恋慕的亚述人手里。
