雖然、邑中尚有遺民、子女被攜而出、至於爾所、爾曹見其所行所為、則於我降災耶路撒冷之事、而得慰藉、

其中必有所遺留者、即被攜出之子女、必攜至爾所、爾見其舉止行為、念我所降於耶路撒冷之諸災、則覺安慰、

Yet there will be some survivors— sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought on Jerusalem— every disaster I have brought on it.

But some people will be left alive. Some children will be brought out of the city. They will come to you. You will see how they act and the way they live. And you will be comforted in spite of all the trouble I brought on Jerusalem.

But behold, some survivors will be left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out; behold, when they come out to you, and you see their ways and their deeds, you will be consoled for the disaster that I have brought upon Jerusalem, for all that I have brought upon it.

Yet there will be survivors, and they will come here to join you as exiles in Babylon. You will see with your own eyes how wicked they are, and then you will feel better about what I have done to Jerusalem.

Even so, there will be survivors left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out. Indeed, they will come out to you, and you will observe their conduct and actions. Then you will be consoled about the devastation I have brought on Jerusalem, about all I have brought on it.

Yet, behold, survivors will be left in it who will be brought out, both sons and daughters. Behold, they are going to come out to you, and you will see their conduct and actions; then you will be comforted for the disaster which I have brought against Jerusalem for everything which I have brought upon it.

Yet behold, there shall be left in it a remnant who will be brought out, both sons and daughters; surely they will come out to you, and you will see their ways and their doings. Then you will be comforted concerning the disaster that I have brought upon Jerusalem, all that I have brought upon it.

Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be carried forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings; and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

Even so, there will be survivors left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out. Indeed, they will come out to you, and you will observe their conduct and actions. Then you will be consoled about the devastation I have brought on Jerusalem, about all I have brought on it.

Then you will be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought on it.

在彼追憶、爾所行污衊之事、自怨自艾。

我必遣數人、得免鋒刃、饑饉瘟疫、使之旅於列邦、自言其非、深可痛疾、使知我乃耶和華。

若主不稍減其日、則無有得救者、惟為所選之民、是日其稍減耳、

斯土之民、既遭斯難、尚有孑遺、若收橄欖果、拾葡萄實、猶留數顆、

當是時以色列族雅各家所遺之民、不恃敵人、惟其聖主耶和華是賴、雅各之遺民、歸乎全能之上帝、以色列族其數雖多若海沙、而歸服者亦僅無幾、萬有之主耶和華、秉公行義以治民、必在國中、翦滅斯眾、其意已定。

蓋主責其所愛、扑其所納、爾既受責、上帝待爾若子、焉有子而父不責之者乎、眾受責而爾不受責、則為妓所出、非嫡所生、生我身之父責我、而我敬之、況賦我神之父、豈不當誠服以得永生乎、生我身之父、或暫時任意責我、賦我神之父、乃為我益而責我、使我得與作聖、凡責我者、我受時憂而不樂、後經練習、則結善果、以致平康、

其中居民、尚存什一、屢遭喪敗、譬彼橡樹、雖經斬伐、猶留其幹、為善之人亦若是。

則爾之上帝耶和華、甚為仁慈、必不棄爾、翦滅爾、與爾祖所立之盟約、亦不忘之。

待我與爾復和、則爾當憶昔所為、抱慙不已、不敢自伐、我耶和華已言之矣。

雅各遺民、將潤澤列邦、如耶和華所降之甘露、如細雨之霢霂、灌溉草蔬、不待人力。

如有詰先知者、謂我之上帝耶和華降災於我曷故。先知必曰、爾棄耶和華、在爾故土、崇事非爾之上帝、故必在非爾之地、從事異邦人。

耶和華曰、雖遍地荒蕪、我怒猶不息。

耶和華又曰、我左右爾、拯救爾、我昔散爾於列邦、盡滅列邦、而爾不盡滅、乃我降災、責爾獨寛、

凡免殺戮者、虜至巴比倫、使為奴婢、世供服役、迨巴西國興。

當是日雅各家肥健之人、變為瘦瘠、尊榮之輩、降為卑賤、民人被虜、若哩乏音谷中人、刈禾懷穗、尚有遺民、若收橄欖果時、高樹之巔、猶遺二三顆、繁枝之上、僅存四五枝、我以色列之上帝耶和華已言之矣。

爾遭患難、爾姊妹見之、怨心悉平、則爾必自慙其素行。

爾曹背道、忘我耶和華、爾之上帝、今在童山、我聞哭聲、籲呼於上。我曰、背逆之子、歸誠於我、我宥爾罪。民曰、爾耶和華乃我之上帝、今我詣爾之前。禱彼岡巒、俱為徒勞、惟我上帝耶和華拯救以色列族。自昔以來、我之列祖、竭勞而得、牛羊子女、悉為可惡者、吞噬無遺。自古迄今、我之列祖、爰及我躬、獲罪於我之上帝耶和華、不遵其命、故蒙羞恥、一蹶不振。

爾追念曩時之惡行、為我所痛疾、則必自怨自艾。

爾散於列邦、中有遺民、得脫鋒刃、我使之然。昔斯民違逆予、狥心目所欲、崇拜偶像、使予懷憂、故我使彼為俘囚、流離列國、免難之民繫念我躬、為所作之惡、自怨自艾、使彼知我乃耶和華、昔言降災、要非虛詞。

耶和華又曰、爾之終身、深可冀望、爾子將歸故土。我聞以法蓮哭曰、昔予如放逸之犢、爾督責予、而我受責、爾耶和華乃我之上帝、俾我悛改。我既悛改、悔於厥衷、我既受教、擊髀浩嘆、幼時已干罪戾、既長更負愆尤、含羞抱愧、無地可容。耶和華曰、以法蓮豈非我之赤子、我所眷愛者哉、予責之、輒生憐念、予矜憫為懷、復加以撫恤。以色列族與、當樹表立柱、以定趨向、思往轍、返故邑。

耶和華又曰、葡萄成纍、可釀新酒、人皆曰、葡萄之中、汁漿嘉美、勿壞之、予也眷顧我僕、不忍殲滅、亦此意耳。必使雅各子孫、猶大遺民、有我山岡、我之選民必得斯、我之臣僕必居斯、
