Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

接著，我看見另一位強有力的天使從天上降下來，披著雲彩；又有一道彩虹在他頭上。他的臉像太陽，腳像火柱，

坐著的那一位，看起來彷彿碧玉和紅寶石；又有一道彩虹圍著寶座，看起來彷彿綠寶石。

亞伯蘭臉伏於地；神又對他說：

於是加百列來到我所站的地方。他一來，我就驚惶失措，臉伏於地。他對我說：「人子啊，你當領悟，這異象是關於末後的時期！」

他仆倒在地上，聽見有聲音對他說：「掃羅，掃羅！你為什麼逼迫我？」

我一看見他，就仆倒在他的腳前，像死人那樣。他把右手放在我身上，說：「不要怕！我就是首先的，是末後的，是那永生的。我曾經死過，可是看哪，我現在活著，直到永永遠遠，並且拿著死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

看哪！那位樣子像人的碰了我的嘴唇，我就開口說話。我對那位站在我面前的說：「我主啊！因這異象，劇痛臨到我身上，我的力氣就留存不住。我主的僕人怎麼能與我主說話呢？我現在裡面一點力氣都沒有，連氣息都沒有。」

如今我們對著鏡子觀看，模糊不清，但那時候就要面對面了；如今我所知道的有限，但那時候就要完全知道了，就像我已經被完全知道那樣；

我在怒氣漲溢的時候，曾經短暫地向你掩面，但我要以永遠的慈愛憐憫你。」這是耶和華你的救贖主說的。「對於我，這就像挪亞洪水的時候——我怎樣起誓不讓挪亞洪水再次漫過大地，我也要怎樣起誓不對你發怒，也不斥責你。大山或可移開，小山或可挪動，但我的慈愛必不離開你，我平安的約也不挪移！」這是憐憫你的耶和華說的。

唯獨我但以理看到了這異象，那些與我在一起的人卻沒有看到這異象，但是有極大的恐懼落在他們身上，他們就逃走躲藏了。因此，唯獨剩下我一人看到了這極大的異象；我裡面一點力氣都沒有，我的臉色變得如同死灰，我的力氣也留存不住，但我卻聽見了他說話的聲音；我一聽見他說話的聲音，就臉伏於地沉睡了。

我把我的彩虹放在雲中，它就是我與大地立約的標記。當我聚起雲遮蓋大地時，彩虹會出現在雲中，我就會記念我與你們以及一切有血肉的活物所立的約，水就不再成為洪水，來毀滅一切有血肉的。當彩虹出現在雲中，我就會看到，就會記念我與地上一切有血肉的活物所立的永遠之約。」

彼得還在說話的時候，忽然有一朵燦爛的雲彩籠罩了他們，看哪，有聲音從雲中出來，說：「這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。你們當聽從他！」門徒們聽見了，就把臉伏在地上，極其懼怕。
