永恆主就定了一個日期，說：『明天永恆主必在此地行這事。』

看吧，明天大約這時候，我必下極重的冰雹，在埃及、自從建國的日子到如今，未曾有過這樣的冰雹的。

凡事都有定期，天下各樣事務都有定時：生有時，死有時；栽種有時，拔出所栽種的也有時；殺戮有時，醫治有時；拆了破口有時，建造有時，哭有時，笑有時；舉哀有時，踴躍有時；拋擲石頭有時，堆聚石頭有時；懷抱有時，停止懷抱有時；尋找有時，失掉有時；保守有時，拋棄有時；撕裂有時，縫補有時；靜默有時，說話有時；喜愛有時，恨惡有時；戰爭有時，和平有時，那麼、人在他所勞碌的事情上作工、有甚麼益處呢？我看上帝將勞苦的事給人類，使他們在其中去勞碌。上帝造萬物、按其定時都很美好；他也將善忘性安置於人心裏，以致上帝從始至終的作為、人都不能查出。

告訴可拉和他一黨的人說：『到了早晨，永恆主就要使人知道誰是屬他的、誰是分別為聖的、就叫誰親近他；他揀選誰，就叫誰親近他。

在我人民與你人民之間我必立分別的記號；明天就有這個神迹。」』

因此永恆主這麼說：「看吧，我必打發你離開塵世；就在今年、你就一定死；因為你說了叛逆永恆主的話。」』就在那年七月間、神言人哈拿尼雅就死了。

你若不肯讓我的人民走，你就看吧，明天我一定要叫蝗蟲進你的境內，

『為甚麼全能者既不將罰惡的日期貯藏着，又不使認識他的人望見那日子呢？
