He set the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, and offered on it burnt offerings and grain offerings, as the Lord commanded him.

He set the altar for burnt offerings near the entrance to the holy tent, the tent of meeting. He sacrificed burnt offerings and grain offerings on it. Moses did it as the Lord had commanded him.

And he set the altar of burnt offering at the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

以火焚祭臺、置於會幕門前、

務絕貪婪、以己所有者為足、蓋經載主曰、我必不棄爾、不離爾、故我儕可毅然曰、主乃助我、我無所畏、人能以何害加我、我無所畏人能以何害加我或作任人向我何為我皆不懼○

惟因基督耶穌贖罪、賴天主之恩、無功而稱義、蓋天主立耶穌為贖罪之祭、使人由信其血而可得赦、天主以其寛容、免人已往之罪、而彰其義、即於今時顯彰其義、使人知天主為義、亦稱信耶穌者為義、

且未用牛羊之血、惟用己身之血、一次入聖所、永贖人罪、

我儕有祭臺、其上之祭物、在幕中奉事者、不得食之、

爾於祭臺所當常獻者、每日用未盈歲之羔二、朝獻一羔、暮獻一羔、每獻一羔、配獻細麵伊法十分之一、和以杵搗之清油一欣一欣約十斤四分之一、用葡萄酒一欣四分之一、以為灌奠、暮獻此羔、當如朝禮、亦獻麵與油與酒、為馨香、為火祭獻於主、此火焚祭、爾當歷代常獻於主、在會幕門前、我必在彼降臨諭爾、我在會幕降臨以色列人、則會幕因我之榮、成為聖所、我必使會幕與祭臺成聖、以亞倫與其諸子區別為聖、為祭司奉事我、我將駐蹕以色列人中、必為其天主、彼必識我耶和華乃其天主、我導之出伊及、為欲駐蹕其中、我耶和華乃其天主、

以什停木作火焚祭臺、長五尺、廣五尺、其製維方、高三尺、於祭臺之四隅作四角、角與臺接連、蔽之以銅、又作臺之諸器、即盆、鏟、盤、鍤、火鼎、皆用銅作、又為祭臺作銅網、置於祭臺中周圍之緣下、網至祭臺之半、鑄四環、置於銅網之四角、可以貫杠、以什停木作杠、以銅蔽之、以杠貫於祭臺旁之環內、藉以舁之、祭臺乃以板作而空其內、

爾以什停木作祭臺、長五尺、廣五尺、其製維方、高三尺、於祭臺之四隅作四角、角須與臺接連、俱蔽之以銅、又作盆以盛祭臺上之灰、又作盆鏟盤鍤火鼎、祭臺上一切器具、皆以銅作、又為祭臺作銅網、網之四隅作銅環、以網置於祭臺周圍之緣下、網至祭臺之半、以什停木為祭臺作杠、以銅蔽之、以杠貫於環內、杠在祭臺之二旁、藉以舁之、祭臺須以板作而空其內、作祭臺須遵山上示爾之式、○

愚而瞽者、孰為大、禮物大乎、抑使禮物成為聖物之祭臺大乎、
