He took the tablets of the covenant law and placed them in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it.

He got the tablets of the covenant law. He placed them in the ark. He put the poles through its rings. And he put the cover on it. The cover was the place where sin is paid for.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;

whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

And you shall put into the ark the Testimony which I will give you.“ You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width.And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.Make one cherub at one end, and the other cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim at the two ends of it of one piece with the mercy seat.And the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and they shall face one another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.

I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.”

Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,and having a High Priest over the house of God,

And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

You shall put in it the ark of the Testimony, and partition off the ark with the veil.
