曰、如是、可使之信耶和華、其祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、顯見於爾、

耶和華曰、爾當行是、使以色列族信其祖之上帝、亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、耶和華已顯現於爾。○

又曰、如是、可使以色列人信其列祖之天主耶和華、即亞伯拉罕之天主、以撒之天主、雅各之天主、實顯現於爾、

“ This,” said the Lord,“ is so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers— the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob— has appeared to you.”

The Lord said,“ When they see this sign, they will believe that I appeared to you. I am the Lord, the God of their fathers. I am the God of Abraham. I am the God of Isaac. And I am the God of Jacob.”

“ that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

“ Perform this sign,” the Lord told him.“ Then they will believe that the Lord, the God of their ancestors— the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob— really has appeared to you.”

“ This will take place,” he continued,“ so that they will believe that the LORD, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

That they may believe that Jehovah, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.

“ This will take place,” He continued,“ so they will believe that Yahweh, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.

耶和華對摩西說：「我會在密雲中臨到你那裡，使百姓也可以親耳聽見我與你說話的聲音，這樣他們就會永遠信賴你。」摩西把以色列人的話回報耶和華。

耶和華向亞伯蘭顯現，對他說：「我要把這片土地賜給你的後裔。」亞伯蘭就在那裡為向他顯現的耶和華築了一座壇。

耶和華向以撒顯現說：「不要下埃及去，要住在我指示你住的地方。

百姓相信了。以色列人聽見耶和華眷顧他們、看到了他們的苦難，都俯伏敬拜祂。

對約瑟說：「全能的上帝曾經在迦南的路斯向我顯現，賜福給我。

上帝又對摩西說：「你要告訴以色列人是我派遣你到他們那裡，我是他們祖先的上帝耶和華，是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。耶和華是我的名字，直到永遠，世世代代的人都要這樣稱呼我。

耶和華在幔利的橡樹那裡向亞伯拉罕顯現。那時天氣很熱，亞伯拉罕坐在帳篷口，

而記載這些事的目的是為了使你們相信耶穌就是基督，是上帝的兒子，並且使你們這些信祂的人可以靠祂的名得到生命。

然後對多馬說：「把你的指頭放在我手上摸摸看，伸出手來摸摸我的肋旁。不要懷疑，要信！」

為了你們的緣故，我很高興自己不在那裡，好叫你們信我。現在我們可以去了。」

司提凡說：「各位父老兄弟，請聽我說！我們的祖先亞伯拉罕還未遷到哈蘭之前，住在美索不達米亞，榮耀的上帝向他顯現，說，

又說：「我是你祖先的上帝，是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。」摩西害怕看上帝，就把臉蒙起來。

以色列的都城是撒瑪利亞，撒瑪利亞的首領是利瑪利的兒子。你們信心若不堅定，必無法堅立。』」

以色列的長老們必定聽從你的話，你就跟他們一起去見埃及王，對他說，『希伯來人的上帝耶和華向我們顯現。現在請你容許我們走三天的路程，到曠野去，向我們的上帝耶和華獻祭。』

但是我有比約翰更大的見證，因為父交待我去完成的工作，就是我現在所做的工作，證明我是父差來的。

亞伯蘭九十九歲那年，耶和華向他顯現說：「我是全能的上帝。你要遵行我的旨意，做純全無過的人。

從前，耶和華向以色列顯現，說：「我以永遠不變的愛愛你，我以慈愛吸引你到我身邊。

第二天清晨，眾人起來去提哥亞的曠野。他們出發的時候，約沙法站著說：「猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民啊，請聽我說！要信靠你們的上帝耶和華，你們就必堅立；要相信祂的先知，你們就必得勝。」

摩西回答說：「他們不會相信我或聽我的話，他們會說，『耶和華根本沒有向你顯現。』」

我知道你常常垂聽我的禱告。我這樣說是為了周圍站著的眾人，好叫他們相信是你差了我來。」
