以色列長老必聽從爾、爾與之覲埃及王曰、希百來族之上帝耶和華、已降臨於我、請許我詣野、歷程三日、以祭我上帝耶和華。

僕遂稽首、崇拜耶和華、

當曰、昔耶和華擊埃及人時、逾越我第宅、拯我眷聚、是以守逾越節、奉耶和華。

大闢告眾曰、宜頌讚爾之上帝耶和華。會眾遂頌讚列祖之上帝耶和華、伏拜耶和華與王。

民信主言、謳歌其名兮、厥後斯民、忘其經綸、不俟其命兮、

故眷顧以色列族、特垂念焉。

遺磽地者、猶人聽而喜受其道、惟無根、則暫信耳、遇患難、遂背之、

爾往屬以色列長老、而告之曰、爾祖之上帝亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之上帝耶和華、顯現於我、曰、我眷顧爾、爾於埃及所受、我無不鑒之。

耶和華曰、如以色列族、不緣前之異跡信從爾、必為後之異跡信從爾。設行異跡、面仍弗信從、則以河水傾於陸地、水必變血。

耶和華曰、我鑒吾民、受苦於埃及、人督其役、上籲於我、惟我聽聞、知其殷憂。

可頌哉、主以色列之上帝也、眷顧其民而贖之、

亞伯蘭遂俯伏焉。上帝又曰。

約沙法率猶大眾、耶路撒冷民、俯伏崇拜耶和華。
