and they believed. And when they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.

老總管聽了，就俯伏敬拜耶和華，

你們就說，『這是獻給耶和華逾越節的祭，因為我們從前在埃及時，祂擊殺埃及人，卻越過以色列人所住的房子，救了我們各家。』」百姓聽了摩西這番話，都低頭下拜。

大衛對全體會眾說：「你們要頌讚你們的上帝耶和華。」於是，全體會眾頌讚他們祖先的上帝耶和華，向耶和華和王俯伏下拜。

那時他們才相信祂的話，歌唱讚美祂。然而，他們很快忘了祂的作為，不願等候祂的引導。

就垂顧他們，體恤他們。

種子落在蓋著淺土的石頭地上是指人聽了道，欣然接受了，但是沒有根基，只是暫時相信，一遇到試煉就放棄了；

你去招聚以色列的長老，對他們說，『你們祖先的上帝耶和華，就是亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的上帝向我顯現，說祂關切你們，知道你們在埃及的遭遇。

耶和華說：「縱然他們不聽你的話，不信第一個神蹟，也必定相信第二個神蹟。如果他們兩個神蹟都不相信，還是不聽你的話，你就從尼羅河裡取些水來倒在旱地上，那水就會在旱地上變成血。」

耶和華說：「我已經看見我子民在埃及所受的苦難，聽見了他們因監工的壓迫而發出的呼求。我知道他們的痛苦。

「主——以色列的上帝當受稱頌，因祂眷顧、救贖了自己的子民，

亞伯蘭就俯伏在地，上帝又對他說：

於是，約沙法面伏於地，所有猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民也都俯伏在耶和華面前敬拜祂。
