The Lord said to Moses,“ When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.

The Lord spoke to Moses. He said,“ When you return to Egypt, do all the amazing things I have given you the power to do. Do them in the sight of Pharaoh. But I will make him stubborn. He will not let the people go.

And the Lord said to Moses,“ When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the miracles that I have put in your power. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go.

And the Lord told Moses,“ When you arrive back in Egypt, go to Pharaoh and perform all the miracles I have empowered you to do. But I will harden his heart so he will refuse to let the people go.

The LORD instructed Moses,“ When you go back to Egypt, make sure you do before Pharaoh all the wonders that I have put within your power. But I will harden his heart so that he won’t let the people go.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ When you go back into Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have put in your hand, but I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go.

總之，上帝要憐憫誰，就憐憫誰；要叫誰頑固，就叫誰頑固。

耶和華啊！你為何使我們偏離你的路，使我們硬著心不敬畏你呢？求你為了你的僕人，你的產業——以色列各支派而改變心意！

因此，我必伸手行各種神蹟攻擊埃及，之後他必讓你們離開。

「主使他們眼瞎、心硬，免得他們眼睛看見，心裡明白，回心轉意，就得到我的醫治。」

法老卻仍然硬著心，不肯聽從摩西和亞倫，正如耶和華所言。

原來耶和華使他們心裡剛硬，跟以色列人作戰，好讓他們遭受無情的毀滅，正如耶和華對摩西的吩咐。

耶和華使法老的心剛硬，他就不聽他們的話，正如耶和華對摩西說的。

法老硬著心，不讓以色列人離開，正如耶和華藉摩西所言。耶和華對摩西說：「你去見法老，我已使他和他臣僕的心剛硬，好在他們當中行我這些神蹟。

耶和華使法老的心剛硬，法老就追趕毫無懼色地離開埃及的以色列人。

可是，我要使法老的心剛硬，雖然我在埃及行許多神蹟奇事，

可是，耶和華又使法老心硬，不讓以色列人離開埃及。

既然他們故意不認識上帝，上帝就任憑他們心思敗壞，做不當做的事。

要讓這些人心靈麻木，耳朵發背，眼睛昏花，免得他們眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回心轉意，就得到醫治。」

耶和華問他用什麼方法，他說，『我要做謊言之靈，進入他眾先知的口中。』耶和華說，『你必能成功，就這樣做吧。』

也是：「絆腳石和使人跌倒的磐石。」他們跌倒是因為他們不順服真道，這種下場早已註定了。

對滅亡的人而言，這香氣是叫人死亡的香氣；對得救的人來說，這香氣卻是叫人得生命的香氣。誰能擔當這樣的重任呢？

用盡各樣詭計欺騙那些將要滅亡的人，因為他們不喜歡接受那能拯救他們的真理。上帝就讓他們是非不辨，去相信那些虛假的謊言，使一切不相信真理、反喜愛不義的人都被定罪。

從亞嫩谷邊的亞羅珥和谷中的城，直到基列的所有城邑全被我們攻克，我們的上帝耶和華把這一切都交給了我們。

正如聖經上說：「上帝使他們至今心智昏迷，眼睛看不見，耳朵聽不到。」大衛也說：「願他們的宴席成為網羅、陷阱、絆腳石，給他們帶來報應；願他們眼目昏暗，無法看見，永遠彎腰駝背。」

耶和華說：「人既然是血肉之軀，我的靈不會永遠住在人的裡面，然而人還可以活一百二十年。」

祂使仇敵憎恨他們，用詭計虐待他們。

希實本王西宏卻拒絕我們的請求，因為我們的上帝耶和華使他頑固不化，好讓我們擊敗他，正如今日的情形。耶和華對我說，『看啊，我已把西宏和他的土地交給你了，去佔領那裡，奪取他的土地吧。』西宏率領全軍在雅雜與我們交戰。我們的上帝耶和華使西宏父子及其軍隊敗在我們手下，全軍覆沒。

我要使法老的心剛硬，使他派兵追趕你們。我要在法老和埃及軍兵身上得到榮耀，好叫埃及人知道我是耶和華。」於是，以色列人依言而行。
