不可把肉留到早晨，留到早晨的肉要燒掉。

你們要把舊酵除掉，好成為真正無酵的新麵團，因為我們逾越節的羔羊——基督已經被獻為祭了。所以，我們不可帶著歹毒邪惡的舊酵守這逾越節，而要用真誠純潔的無酵餅。

若有授聖職時的肉或餅留到早上，就要燒掉，不可再吃，因為這些都是聖物。

無論你們住在哪裡都要吃無酵餅，不能吃有酵的食物。」

吃祭牲的時候，不可吃有酵的餅，七天之內要吃無酵餅，即憶苦餅，以便你們一生謹記離開埃及的日子，因為當時你們離開得很倉促。

至於祭牲的肉，要在獻祭的當天吃完，不可留到次日早晨。

當晚，你們要用火把羊肉烤熟，與無酵餅和苦菜一起吃。

食物不可留到天明，也不可折斷羊羔的一根骨頭。要遵守逾越節的一切律例。
