“ I will grant this people favor with the Egyptians, so that when you depart you will not leave empty-handed.

我必使埃及人看得起你们，你们离开的时候就不至于空手而去。

我必使斯民獲恩於伊及人前、俾爾出時、不徒手而出、

“ And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed.

“ I will cause the Egyptians to treat you in a kind way. Then when you leave, you will not go with your hands empty.

And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and when you go, you shall not go empty,

And I will cause the Egyptians to look favorably on you. They will give you gifts when you go so you will not leave empty handed.

And I will give these people such favor with the Egyptians that when you go, you will not go empty-handed.

I will grant this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you will not go empty handed.

The LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, and they gave them whatever they wanted, and so they plundered Egypt.

( Now the LORD granted the people favor with the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, respected by Pharaoh’s servants and by the Egyptian people.)

He brought his people out enriched with silver and gold; none of his tribes stumbled.

When a person’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, he even reconciles his enemies to himself.

He caused all their conquerors to have pity on them.

But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him kindness. He granted him favor in the sight of the prison warden.

and rescued him from all his troubles, and granted him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household.

Please, O Lord, listen attentively to the prayer of your servant and to the prayer of your servants who take pleasure in showing respect to your name. Grant your servant success today and show compassion to me in the presence of this man.” Now I was cupbearer for the king.
