我將脫爾於苦厄、導爾出埃及至迦南人、赫人、亞摩哩人、比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人之地、其地產乳與蜜。

故我言必導爾出伊及、脫於其苦、至流乳與蜜之地、即迦南族赫族亞摩利族比利洗族希未族耶布斯族之地、

And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites— a land flowing with milk and honey.’

I have promised to bring you up out of Egypt where you are suffering. I will bring you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. It is a land that has plenty of milk and honey.” ’

and I promise that I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

I have promised to rescue you from your oppression in Egypt. I will lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey— the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”’

And I have promised you that I will bring you up from the misery of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites— a land flowing with milk and honey.

So I said, I will bring you up out of the oppression of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” ’

耶和華對亞伯蘭說：「你要確實知道，你的後裔必寄居在別人的地，服事那地的人；那地的人要虐待他們四百年。但我要懲罰他們所服事的那國，以後他們必帶着許多財物從那裏出來。至於你，你要平平安安歸到你祖先那裏，必享長壽，被人埋葬。到了第四代，他們必回到這裏，因為亞摩利人的罪惡到現在還沒有滿盈。」日落天黑的時候，看哪，有冒煙的爐和燒着的火把從那些肉塊中經過。在那日，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約，說：「我已賜給你的後裔這一片地，從埃及河直到大河，幼發拉底河，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人的地。」

約瑟對他的兄弟說：「我快要死了，但上帝必定看顧你們，領你們從這地上去，到他起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地。」

過了許多年，埃及王死了。以色列人因做苦工，就嘆息哀求；他們因苦工所發出的哀聲達於上帝。上帝聽見他們的哀聲，就記念他與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約。上帝看顧以色列人，上帝是知道的。

我下來是要救他們脫離埃及人的手，領他們從那地上來，到美好與寬闊之地，到流奶與蜜之地，就是迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地。現在，看哪，以色列人的哀聲達到我這裏，我也看見埃及人怎樣欺壓他們。

你們過了約旦河，來到耶利哥。耶利哥人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、迦南人、赫人、革迦撒人、希未人、耶布斯人都與你們爭戰，我卻把他們交在你們手裏。

我要和你同下埃及去，也必定帶你上來；約瑟要親手合上你的眼睛。」
