And I have promised you that I will bring you up from the misery of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites— a land flowing with milk and honey.

故我言必導爾出伊及、脫於其苦、至流乳與蜜之地、即迦南族赫族亞摩利族比利洗族希未族耶布斯族之地、

And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites— a land flowing with milk and honey.’

I have promised to bring you up out of Egypt where you are suffering. I will bring you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. It is a land that has plenty of milk and honey.” ’

and I promise that I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

I have promised to rescue you from your oppression in Egypt. I will lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey— the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”’

So I said, I will bring you up out of the oppression of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” ’

and I have said I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

Then the LORD said to Abram,“ Know this for certain: Your offspring will be resident aliens for four hundred years in a land that does not belong to them and will be enslaved and oppressed.However, I will judge the nation they serve, and afterward they will go out with many possessions.But you will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age.In the fourth generation they will return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure.”When the sun had set and it was dark, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch appeared and passed between the divided animals.On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying,“ I give this land to your offspring, from the Brook of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates River:the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites,Hethites, Perizzites, Rephaim,Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites, and Jebusites.”

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die, but God will certainly come to your aid and bring you up from this land to the land he swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

After a long time, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned because of their difficult labor, they cried out, and their cry for help because of the difficult labor ascended to God.God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.God saw the Israelites, and God knew.

and I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the territory of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.So because the Israelites’ cry for help has come to me, and I have also seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them,

“‘ You then crossed the Jordan and came to Jericho. Jericho’s citizens— as well as the Amorites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hethites, Girgashites, Hivites, and Jebusites— fought against you, but I handed them over to you.

I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you back. Joseph will close your eyes when you die.”
