Moses said to God,“ Suppose I go to the people of Israel. Suppose I say to them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you.’ And suppose they ask me,‘ What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?”

摩西对神说：“我到以色列人那里，对他们说：‘你们祖宗的神打发我到你们这里来。’他们若问我说：‘他叫什么名字？’我要对他们说什么呢？”

摩西对上帝说：“看哪，我到以色列人那里，对他们说：‘你们祖宗的上帝差派我到你们这里来。’他们若对我说：‘他叫什么名字？’我要对他们说什么呢？”

摩西对神说：“看哪，我到以色列人那里，对他们说：‘你们祖宗的神差派我到你们这里来。’他们若对我说：‘他叫什么名字？’我要对他们说什么呢？”

摩西问上帝：“假如我到以色列人那里，对他们说，‘你们祖先的上帝派我来你们这里。’他们如果问我，‘祂叫什么名字？’我该怎样回答他们呢？”

摩西对神说：“我到以色列人那里，对他们说：‘你们祖宗的神差遣我到你们这里来’，他们必问我：‘他叫什么名字？’我要对他们说什么呢？”

摩西對神說：「我到以色列人那裏，對他們說：『你們祖宗的神打發我到你們這裏來。』他們若問我說：『他叫甚麼名字？』我要對他們說甚麼呢？」

摩西對上帝說：「看哪，我到以色列人那裏，對他們說：『你們祖宗的上帝差派我到你們這裏來。』他們若對我說：『他叫甚麼名字？』我要對他們說甚麼呢？」

摩西對神說：「看哪，我到以色列人那裏，對他們說：『你們祖宗的神差派我到你們這裏來。』他們若對我說：『他叫甚麼名字？』我要對他們說甚麼呢？」

摩西問上帝：「假如我到以色列人那裡，對他們說，『你們祖先的上帝派我來你們這裡。』他們如果問我，『祂叫什麼名字？』我該怎樣回答他們呢？」

摩西對神說：“我到以色列人那裡，對他們說：‘你們祖宗的神差遣我到你們這裡來’，他們必問我：‘他叫甚麼名字？’我要對他們說甚麼呢？”

摩西對上帝說：『看哪，我到以色列人那裏，對他們說：「你們祖宗的上帝差遣了我來找你們」，他們會問我說：「他的名有甚麼意義？」我要對他們怎麼說呢？』

摩西曰、我至以色列族、告曰、爾祖之上帝遣我就爾、彼若詰我其名為何、將奚以對、

摩西曰、我至以色列族、告曰、遣我者爾祖之上帝也。彼若詰我、上帝何名、將奚以對。

摩西對天主曰、我見以色列人謂之曰、爾祖之天主遣我就爾、彼若問我曰、其名為何、我將何以告之、

Moses said to God,“ Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘ What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”

Then Moses said to God,“ If I come to the people of Israel and say to them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘ What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?”

But Moses protested,“ If I go to the people of Israel and tell them,‘ The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me,‘ What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?”

Then Moses asked God,“ If I go to the Israelites and say to them,‘ The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘ What is his name?’ what should I tell them?”

Then Moses said to God,“ Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you.’ Now they may say to me,‘ What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?”

Then Moses said to God,“ Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me,‘ What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? What shall I say unto them?

Then Moses asked God,“ If I go to the Israelites and say to them: The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me,‘ What is His name?’ what should I tell them?”

And Moses said unto God, Behold,[ when] I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What[ is] his name? what shall I say unto them?

Moses said to God,“ If I go to the Israelites and tell them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘ What is his name?’– what should I say to them?”

Moses said to God,“ Behold, when I come to the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘ What is his name?’ what should I tell them?”

A child will be born to us. A son will be given to us. He will rule over us. And he will be called Wonderful Adviser and Mighty God. He will also be called Father Who Lives Forever and Prince Who Brings Peace.

The Lord himself will give you a sign. The virgin is going to have a baby. She will give birth to a son. And he will be called Immanuel.

God said to Moses,“ I am who I am. Here is what you must say to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ I am has sent me to you.’ ”

Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a coat? Who has set in place all the boundaries of the earth? What is his name? What is his son’s name? Surely you know!

She is going to have a son. You must give him the name Jesus. That’s because he will save his people from their sins.”

Then Manoah asked the angel of the Lord a question.“ What is your name?” he said.“ We want to honor you when your word comes true.”

“ The virgin is going to have a baby. She will give birth to a son. And he will be called Immanuel.”( Isaiah 7:14) The name Immanuel means“ God with us.”

Then the woman went to her husband. She told him,“ A man of God came to me. He looked like an angel of God. His appearance was so amazing that it filled me with great wonder. I didn’t ask him where he came from. And he didn’t tell me his name.

Jacob said,“ Please tell me your name.” But he replied,“ Why do you want to know my name?” Then he blessed Jacob there.

In his days Judah will be saved. Israel will live in safety. And the Branch will be called The Lord Who Makes Us Right With Himself.

The Lord goes into battle. The Lord is his name.
