He said,“ Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

曰、我必偕爾、既導民出埃及、爾曹必於是山崇事上帝、以此為我遣爾之徵、○

And God said,“ I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”

God said,“ I will be with you. I will give you a sign. It will prove that I have sent you. When you have brought the people out of Egypt, all of you will worship me on this mountain.”

He said,“ But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

God answered,“ I will be with you. And this is your sign that I am the one who has sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God at this very mountain.”

He answered,“ I will certainly be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I am the one who sent you: when you bring the people out of Egypt, you will all worship God at this mountain.”

And He said,“ Assuredly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain.”

So He said,“ I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be the token unto thee, that I have sent thee: when thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

He answered,“ I will certainly be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: when you bring the people out of Egypt, you will all worship God at this mountain.”

And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this[ shall be] a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

He replied,“ Surely I will be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: When you bring the people out of Egypt, you and they will serve God on this mountain.”

No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you.

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

You shall speak to him, and put the words in his mouth. I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what you shall do.

He commissioned Joshua the son of Nun, and said,“ Be strong and courageous; for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land which I swore to them. I will be with you.”

Yahweh said to Jacob,“ Return to the land of your fathers, and to your relatives, and I will be with you.”

Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall speak.”

In the third month after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on that same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.When they had departed from Rephidim, and had come to the wilderness of Sinai, they encamped in the wilderness; and there Israel encamped before the mountain.Moses went up to God, and Yahweh called to him out of the mountain, saying,“ This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:‘ You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to myself.Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice, and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine;and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Yahweh commanded him.All the people answered together, and said,“ All that Yahweh has spoken we will do.” Moses reported the words of the people to Yahweh.Yahweh said to Moses,“ Behold, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever.” Moses told the words of the people to Yahweh.Yahweh said to Moses,“ Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments,and be ready for the third day; for on the third day Yahweh will come down in the sight of all the people on Mount Sinai.You shall set bounds to the people all around, saying,‘ Be careful that you don’t go up onto the mountain, or touch its border. Whoever touches the mountain shall be surely put to death.No hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot through; whether it is animal or man, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mountain.”Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.He said to the people,“ Be ready by the third day. Don’t have sexual relations with a woman.”On the third day, when it was morning, there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud trumpet; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.Moses led the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the lower part of the mountain.All of Mount Sinai smoked, because Yahweh descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.Yahweh came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. Yahweh called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.Yahweh said to Moses,“ Go down, warn the people, lest they break through to Yahweh to gaze, and many of them perish.Let the priests also, who come near to Yahweh, sanctify themselves, lest Yahweh break out on them.”Moses said to Yahweh,“ The people can’t come up to Mount Sinai, for you warned us, saying,‘ Set bounds around the mountain, and sanctify it.’”Yahweh said to him,“ Go down! You shall bring Aaron up with you, but don’t let the priests and the people break through to come up to Yahweh, lest he break out against them.”So Moses went down to the people, and told them.

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.

“ Take great stones in your hand, and hide them in mortar in the brick work, which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;and tell them, Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says:‘ Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his royal pavilion over them.

They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

Moses answered,“ But, behold, they will not believe me, nor listen to my voice; for they will say,‘ Yahweh has not appeared to you.’”Yahweh said to him,“ What is that in your hand?” He said,“ A rod.”He said,“ Throw it on the ground.” He threw it on the ground, and it became a snake; and Moses ran away from it.Yahweh said to Moses,“ Stretch out your hand, and take it by the tail.” He stretched out his hand, and took hold of it, and it became a rod in his hand.“ This is so that they may believe that Yahweh, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”Yahweh said furthermore to him,“ Now put your hand inside your cloak.” He put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, as white as snow.He said,“ Put your hand inside your cloak again.” He put his hand inside his cloak again, and when he took it out of his cloak, behold, it had turned again as his other flesh.“ It will happen, if they will not believe you or listen to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.It will happen, if they will not believe even these two signs or listen to your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it on the dry land. The water which you take out of the river will become blood on the dry land.”

The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.

teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

He said,“ Lord Yahweh, how will I know that I will inherit it?”

After these things Yahweh’s word came to Abram in a vision, saying,“ Don’t be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Then Yahweh’s angel stretched out the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the meat and the unleavened cakes; and fire went up out of the rock and consumed the meat and the unleavened cakes. Then Yahweh’s angel departed out of his sight.

Show me a sign of your goodness, that those who hate me may see it, and be shamed, because you, Yahweh, have helped me, and comforted me.

Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,“ Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, every male, one by one,from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall count them by their divisions.With you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers’ house.These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

He said to him,“ If now I have found favor in your sight, then show me a sign that it is you who talk with me.

Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said,“ I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”

“‘ This shall be the sign to you. You will eat this year that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from it; and in the third year sow and reap and plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.

You will hear what they say; and afterward your hands will be strengthened to go down into the camp.” Then went he down with Purah his servant to the outermost part of the armed men who were in the camp.

When Gideon had come, behold, there was a man telling a dream to his fellow. He said,“ Behold, I dreamed a dream; and behold, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian, came to the tent, and struck it so that it fell, and turned it upside down, so that the tent lay flat.”His fellow answered,“ This is nothing other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel. God has delivered Midian into his hand, with all the army.”

Yahweh called to Moses, and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,“ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ When anyone of you offers an offering to Yahweh, you shall offer your offering of the livestock, from the herd and from the flock.“‘ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.He shall skin the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar;but he shall wash its innards and its legs with water. The priest shall burn all of it on the altar, for a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.“‘ If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect.He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.He shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat. The priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar,but the innards and the legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall offer the whole, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.“‘ If his offering to Yahweh is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering from turtledoves or of young pigeons.The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar;and he shall take away its crop and its feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes.He shall tear it by its wings, but shall not divide it apart. The priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

It will be, when you have finished reading this book, that you shall bind a stone to it, and cast it into the middle of the Euphrates.Then you shall say,‘ Thus will Babylon sink, and will not rise again because of the evil that I will bring on her; and they will be weary.’” Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

Gideon said to God,“ If you will save Israel by my hand, as you have spoken,behold, I will put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I’ll know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you have spoken.”It was so; for he rose up early on the next day, and pressed the fleece together, and wrung the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.Gideon said to God,“ Don’t let your anger be kindled against me, and I will speak but this once. Please let me make a trial just this once with the fleece. Let it now be dry only on the fleece, and on all the ground let there be dew.”God did so that night; for it was dry on the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
