And He said,“ Assuredly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain.”

And God said,“ I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”

God said,“ I will be with you. I will give you a sign. It will prove that I have sent you. When you have brought the people out of Egypt, all of you will worship me on this mountain.”

He said,“ But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

God answered,“ I will be with you. And this is your sign that I am the one who has sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God at this very mountain.”

He answered,“ I will certainly be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I am the one who sent you: when you bring the people out of Egypt, you will all worship God at this mountain.”

So He said,“ I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be the token unto thee, that I have sent thee: when thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

He answered,“ I will certainly be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: when you bring the people out of Egypt, you will all worship God at this mountain.”

And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this[ shall be] a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

He replied,“ Surely I will be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: When you bring the people out of Egypt, you and they will serve God on this mountain.”

He said,“ Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

No one will be able to oppose you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not desert you nor abandon you.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

So you are to speak to him and put the words in his mouth; and I Myself will be with your mouth and his mouth, and I will instruct you in what you are to do.

Then He commissioned Joshua the son of Nun, and said,“ Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the sons of Israel into the land which I swore to them, and I will be with you.”

Then the Lord said to Jacob,“ Return to the land of your fathers and to your relatives, and I will be with you.”

Now then go, and I Myself will be with your mouth, and instruct you in what you are to say.”

In the third month after the sons of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on that very day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.When they set out from Rephidim, they came to the wilderness of Sinai and camped in the wilderness; and there Israel camped in front of the mountain.And Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying,“ This is what you shall say to the house of Jacob and tell the sons of Israel:‘ You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself.Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”So Moses came and called the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which the Lord had commanded him.Then all the people answered together and said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do!” And Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord.Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Behold, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that the people may hear when I speak with you and may also trust in you forever.” Then Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.The Lord also said to Moses,“ Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and have them wash their garments;and have them ready for the third day, for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.But you shall set boundaries for the people all around, saying,‘ Beware that you do not go up on the mountain or touch the border of it; whoever touches the mountain shall certainly be put to death.No hand shall touch him, but he shall certainly be stoned or shot through; whether animal or person, the violator shall not live.’ When the ram’s horn sounds a long blast, they shall come up to the mountain.”So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and consecrated the people, and they washed their garments.He also said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.”So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud over the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the entire mountain quaked violently.When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him with thunder.Then the Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain; and the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.Then the Lord spoke to Moses:“ Go down, warn the people, so that they do not break through to the Lord to stare, and many of them perish.Also have the priests who approach the Lord consecrate themselves, or else the Lord will break out against them.”And Moses said to the Lord,“ The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for You warned us, saying,‘ Set boundaries around the mountain and consecrate it.’ ”Then the Lord said to him,“ Go down and come up again, you and Aaron with you; but do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to the Lord, or He will break out against them.”So Moses went down to the people and told them.

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

“ Take some large stones in your hands and hide them in the mortar in the brick terrace which is at the entrance of Pharaoh’s palace in Tahpanhes, in the sight of some of the Jews;and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ Behold, I am going to send men and get My servant Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and I am going to set his throne over these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his canopy over them.

And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.]][[ And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself also sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.]]

Then Moses said,“ What if they will not believe me or listen to what I say? For they may say,‘ The Lord has not appeared to you.’ ”The Lord said to him,“ What is that in your hand?” And he said,“ A staff.”Then He said,“ Throw it on the ground.” So he threw it on the ground, and it turned into a serpent; and Moses fled from it.But the Lord said to Moses,“ Reach out with your hand and grasp it by its tail”— so he reached out with his hand and caught it, and it turned into a staff in his hand—“ so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”The Lord furthermore said to him,“ Now put your hand inside the fold of your robe.” So he put his hand inside the fold, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous like snow.Then He said,“ Put your hand inside the fold of your robe again.” So he put his hand into the fold again, and when he took it out of the fold, behold, it was restored like the rest of his flesh.“ So if they will not believe you nor pay attention to the evidence of the first sign, they may believe the evidence of the last sign.But if they will not believe even these two signs nor pay attention to what you say, then you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground; and the water which you take from the Nile will turn into blood on the dry ground.”

And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a large number who believed turned to the Lord.

teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

But he said,“ Lord God, how may I know that I will possess it?”

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,“ Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you; Your reward shall be very great.”

Then the angel of the Lord put out the end of the staff that was in his hand and touched the meat and the unleavened bread; and fire came up from the rock and consumed the meat and the unleavened bread. Then the angel of the Lord vanished from his sight.

Show me a sign of good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,“ Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, every male, head by headfrom twenty years old and upward, whoever is able to go to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall count them by their armies.With you, moreover, there shall be a man of each tribe, each one head of his father’s household.These then are the names of the men who shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur;of the tribe of Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;of the tribe of Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;of Issachar, Nethanel the son of Zuar;of Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon;of the sons of Joseph: of Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;

So Gideon said to Him,“ If now I have found favor in Your sight, then perform for me a sign that it is You speaking with me.

Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said,“ I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,”

“ Then this shall be the sign for you: you will eat this year what grows of itself, in the second year what grows from the same, and in the third year sow, harvest, plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.

so that you will hear what they say; and afterward you will have the courage to go down against the camp.” So he went down with Purah his servant to the outposts of the army that was in the camp.

When Gideon came, behold, a man was relating a dream to his friend. And he said,“ Behold, I had a dream; a loaf of barley bread was tumbling into the camp of Midian, and it came to the tent and struck it so that it fell, and turned it upside down so that the tent collapsed.”And his friend replied,“ This is nothing other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel; God has handed over to him Midian and all the camp.”

Now the Lord called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying,“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When anyone of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or the flock.If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect; he shall offer it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, so that he may be accepted before the Lord.And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, so that it may be accepted for him to make atonement on his behalf.Then he shall slaughter the bull before the Lord; and Aaron’s sons the priests shall offer up the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.He shall then skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, with the head and the suet, on the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar.Its entrails, however, and its legs he shall wash with water. And the priest shall offer all of it up in smoke on the altar as a burnt offering, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma to the Lord.‘ But if his offering is from the flock, either from the sheep or from the goats, as a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect.And he shall slaughter it on the side of the altar northward before the Lord, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.He shall then cut it into its pieces with its head and its suet, and the priest shall arrange them on the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar.The entrails, however, and the legs he shall wash with water. And the priest shall offer all of it, and offer it up in smoke on the altar; it is a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the Lord.‘ But if his offering to the Lord is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall bring his offering from the turtledoves or from young doves.The priest shall bring it to the altar, and pinch off its head, and offer it up in smoke on the altar; and its blood is to be drained out on the side of the altar.He shall also remove its craw with its feathers and throw it beside the altar eastward, to the place of the fatty ashes.Then he shall tear it by its wings, but shall not sever it. And the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar, on the wood which is on the fire; it is a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the Lord.

And as soon as you finish reading this scroll, you shall tie a stone to it and throw it into the middle of the Euphrates,and say,‘ Just so shall Babylon sink down and not rise again, because of the disaster that I am going to bring upon her; and they will become exhausted.’ ” To this point are the words of Jeremiah.

Then Gideon said to God,“ If You are going to save Israel through me, as You have spoken,behold, I am putting a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I will know that You will save Israel through me, as You have spoken.”And it was so. When he got up early the next morning and wrung out the fleece, he wrung the dew from the fleece, a bowl full of water.Then Gideon said to God,“ Do not let Your anger burn against me, so that I may speak only one more time; please let me put You to the test only one more time with the fleece: let it now be dry only on the fleece, and let there be dew on all the ground.”And God did so that night; for it was dry only on the fleece, and dew was on all the ground.

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.
