and fasten caps on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons. The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance.“ Then you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

Put caps on their heads. Tie belts on Aaron and his sons. The work of the priests belongs to them. This is my law that will last for all time to come.“ Then you must prepare Aaron and his sons to serve me.

and you shall gird Aaron and his sons with sashes and bind caps on them. And the priesthood shall be theirs by a statute forever. Thus you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

Wrap the sashes around the waists of Aaron and his sons, and put their special head coverings on them. Then the right to the priesthood will be theirs by law forever. In this way, you will ordain Aaron and his sons.

惟爾與子孫當守祭司之職、治理祭臺與幔內之事、如此供其役事、我特為此賜爾祭司之職、外人近前、必治之死、

又牽第二牡綿羊、即立亞倫與諸子為祭司時所用之牡綿羊、亞倫與其諸子按手於其首上、乃宰羊、摩西以其血塗於亞倫之右耳垂、又塗於其右手之大指、與右足之大指、摩西令亞倫諸子來前、以血塗於其右耳垂、又塗於其右手之大指、與右足之大指、灑血於祭臺四周、又取脂及尾、蓋臟之脂、肝片、二內腎及其上之脂、並右腿、於主前盛無酵餅之筐內、取無酵餅一、和油餠一、薄餅一、置於脂及右腿上、以此一切置於亞倫與其諸子掌上、使搖於主前、摩西自其掌取下、焚於祭臺、火焚祭之上、是為立亞倫與諸子為祭司時所獻之祭、為馨香、為獻於主之火祭、

膏之如膏其父然、使為祭司奉事我、彼受此膏、則得歷代為祭司之職、

天主稱之為大祭司、循麥基洗德之等次焉、○

惟命亞倫及其子孫為祭司、以守其祭司之職、外人近聖所、必當治死、

此大祭司之尊位、非蒙召於天主如亞倫者、無人可自取、如此、基督亦未嘗自尊為大祭司、乃語彼云、爾乃我子、我今日生爾者立之為大祭司、

立爾為祭司、行禮必歷七日、故七日毋出會幕門、直待七日滿矣、

摩西謂利未人曰、爾能不顧己之子女兄弟、今日必得奉事主之職、並蒙主今日賜福於爾、○

昔民受律法、即在利未子孫得祭司職之時、若賴此祭司之職、能得成全、何用別設一祭司、循麥基洗德之等次、而不循亞倫之等次乎、又作人若賴利未子孫所得祭司之職能得成全何須別設一祭司循麥基洗德之等次而非循亞倫之等次乎民所受之律法與此祭司之職實有關係祭司之職既易、則律法亦必易、蓋此言所指者、乃屬他支派、從無有人奉事於祭臺者、蓋明明我主由猶大支派出、此支派、摩西未嘗以祭司之職諭之、

此即立彼與其子孫永為祭司之約、因彼為其天主熱中、為以色列人贖罪、○

又有火出自主前、燬其獻香者二百五十人、○

爾從以色列人中、選爾兄亞倫、與其子拿答亞比戶以利亞撒以他瑪、使之近於爾前、立之為祭司奉事我、

蓋主爾之天主、於爾諸支派中選擇祭司及其子孫、託主名侍立奉事、永遠不替、

又為亞倫諸子作長袍與帶、並為之製冠、顯其尊榮、使亞倫與諸子服此衣、並以膏膏之、區別為聖、立為祭司奉事我、

為以色列人作誌、免外族人、非亞倫之子孫、來主前焚香、恐遇可拉與其黨所遭之害、即主託摩西預告彼眾必遭之害、

彼眾為祭司者、相繼甚多、因有死而不能常、惟耶穌原文作惟此既永存、故其祭司之職、亦永不更易、是以凡賴耶穌而至天主前者、耶穌能全救之、蓋彼恆存、為之祈禱、○如此大祭司、原為我儕所需、聖潔、無玷無垢、遠乎罪人、升天無上、不似彼大祭司、每日獻祭、先為己罪、後為民罪、蓋獻己為祭、一次而成為民罪獻祭之事矣、律法立懦弱之人為大祭司、律法後之誓言、則立永遠全備之子焉、
