“‘每天早晨，你们要献给耶和华一只毫无残疾的一岁羊羔为燔祭，同献的素祭是一点七公斤细面粉，调上一点三升油。献给耶和华的这种素祭是永久不变的律例。所以，每天早晨都要预备羊羔、素祭和油，作为日常献的燔祭。

到了献晚祭的时候，以利亚先知走到坛前祷告：“亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的上帝耶和华啊，求你今天让这些人知道你是以色列的上帝，我是你的仆人，我是按你的命令做这一切事。
