They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred.

These are the offerings to pay for their sins. They must eat them. The offerings must be made when Aaron and his sons are set apart and prepared to serve the Lord. No one else can eat them. They are sacred.

困苦的人必喫得飽足；尋求永恆主的人必讚美他說：願你們永遠活着！

『一切非祭司的平常人都不可喫聖物；在祭司家寄住者或是雇工人、也不可喫聖物。倘若祭司買人、是他自己的銀子買的，那人就可以喫；生在他家的人、是可以喫他的食物的。祭司的女兒若嫁給非祭司的平常人，就不可喫聖物中的提獻物。但祭司的女兒若是寡婦、或是被離婚的、沒有後裔，又回她父家來，像她幼年時一樣，那麼、她就可以喫她父親的食物；只是非祭司的平常人卻不可喫。

告訴可拉和他一黨的人說：『到了早晨，永恆主就要使人知道誰是屬他的、誰是分別為聖的、就叫誰親近他；他揀選誰，就叫誰親近他。

在帳幕前、就是在東邊、在會棚前、日出的方向紮營的、是摩西、亞倫和亞倫的兒子們、守盡聖所的職守，替以色列人盡應盡的職守；走近前來非祭司的平常人必被處死。

給以色列人做記念物，叫那不是亞倫後裔的平常人不至於走近前來、在永恆主面前燒香，免得像可拉和他一黨的人那樣子：這是照永恆主由摩西經手所告訴以利亞撒的。

你要派亞倫和他的兒子們；他們要謹守他們的祭司職任；走近前來非祭司的平常人必被處死。』

你和你兒子們呢、卻要和你一同守盡你們的祭司職任、來辦一切屬於祭壇的事、和帷帳以內的事；你們要這樣辦事。我將你們的祭司職任做辦事的禮物給了你們；走近來非祭司的平常人就必須被處死。』

你們要在聖的地方喫，因為在獻與永恆主的火祭中、這是你的分兒、和你兒子們的分兒；因為所吩咐我的就是這樣。至於所搖獻的胸所提獻的腿、你們也要在潔淨的地方喫，你和你兒女跟你一同喫，因為這是你的分兒、和你兒子們的分兒，是從以色列人的平安祭中給予你的。所提獻的腿、所搖獻的胸、他們要跟火祭的脂肪一同帶來、做搖獻物，搖在永恆主面前：這要給你和你兒子們跟你一同享受、做永遠的分兒：照永恆主所吩咐的。』當下那做解罪祭的公山羊、摩西找來找去都找不着；哪知道已經焚燒了！摩西就惱怒亞倫剩下的兒子、以利亞撒、以他瑪，說：『這解罪祭既是至聖的，主又將那祭品給了你們、去擔當會眾的罪罰、而在永恆主面前為他們行除罪禮，你們為甚麼沒有在聖的地方喫呢？你看，這祭牲的血竟沒有拿到聖所裏面去呀！你們本該照我所吩咐的準準在聖所裏喫才對呀。』

耶穌就對他們說：『我實實在在地告訴你們，你們若不喫人子的肉，不喝人子的血，就沒有生命在你們裏面。嚼我肉、喝我血的人有永生；我還要使他在末日復起。我的肉是真正可喫的，我的血是真正可喝的。
