耶和华对亚伦说：“你看！我让你照管以色列人献给我的礼物，把举祭等一切圣物赐给你和你的子孙，作为你们应得之份。此律永远不变。

摩西给亚伦穿上内袍，束上腰带，穿上外袍，套上以弗得，用精巧的带子把以弗得系在亚伦身上，然后给他戴上胸牌，把乌陵和土明放在胸牌内，再把礼冠戴在他头上，在礼冠前系上金牌，即圣冠，都遵照耶和华的吩咐。摩西拿膏油抹圣幕和圣幕里的一切物件，使它们圣洁；再用膏油在祭坛上洒七次，又抹祭坛和祭坛上的器具、洗濯盆和盆座，使它们圣洁。然后，摩西把膏油倒在亚伦头上膏立他，使他圣洁。

然后给亚伦穿上内袍、以弗得和以弗得的外袍，戴上胸牌，束上精致的以弗得带子，戴上礼冠，把圣冠系在礼冠上。之后，把膏油倒在他的头上，立他为祭司。

你要吩咐所有我赋予智慧的巧手裁缝师为亚伦缝制衣服，使他分别出来，做圣洁的祭司事奉我。他们要做的圣衣包括胸牌、以弗得、外袍、杂色的内袍、礼冠和腰带。要为你哥哥亚伦及其众子做这样的圣衣，好让他们做祭司事奉我。

把亚伦的圣衣脱下来给他儿子以利亚撒穿上，因为亚伦将死在那里。”摩西遵命而行。他们三人就当着全体会众的面上了何珥山。摩西把亚伦的圣衣脱下，给以利亚撒穿上。随后亚伦在山顶离世。摩西和以利亚撒便下了山。

用同样的仪式膏立他们，使他们做祭司事奉我。他们的受膏将使他们永远做祭司，世代相传。”

“你也要用这种油来膏亚伦父子们，使他们分别出来，做圣洁的祭司事奉我。

会众要把误杀人者从复仇者手里救出来，让他回到他原先逃往的避难城。他要住在那里，一直住到受圣油膏立的大祭司逝世。
