Slaughter it, take some of its blood and put it on the lobes of the right ears of Aaron and his sons, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Then splash blood against the sides of the altar.

Kill it. Put some of its blood on the right earlobes of Aaron and his sons. Put some on the thumbs of their right hands. Also put some on the big toes of their right feet. Then splash the blood against the sides of the altar.

and you shall kill the ram and take part of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tips of the right ears of his sons, and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the great toes of their right feet, and throw the rest of the blood against the sides of the altar.

用一根右手指蘸左手掌裡的油，在耶和華面前彈灑七次，

還有新約的中保耶穌和祂所流的血。這血比亞伯的血發出更美的信息。

主耶和華開了我的耳朵，我沒有悖逆，也沒有退縮。

祂潔淨了我們被罪困擾的良心，用清水洗淨了我們的身體。因此，我們要信心十足、真誠地到上帝面前。

耶穌就帶他離開眾人走到一邊，用指頭伸進他的耳朵，又吐唾沫抹他的舌頭，

祂必洗淨許多國家，君王必因祂而閉口無言。因為他們將看見未曾聽過的事，明白聞所未聞的事。

祭司要用鳥血在他身上灑七次，宣佈他是潔淨的，然後放走那隻活鳥，讓牠飛向田野。

你們蒙揀選是按照父上帝預先定好的旨意，藉著聖靈得以聖潔，好順服耶穌基督，並靠祂的血得到潔淨。願上帝賜給你們豐豐富富的恩典和平安！

他要取一些牛血，用手指彈灑在施恩座的東面，也要在施恩座前用手指彈灑七次。然後，亞倫要出去宰殺那隻為民眾作贖罪祭的公山羊，把羊血帶進幔子裡，像灑牛血一樣灑在施恩座的上面和前面。

摩西依照律法向猶太人頒佈所有誡命之後，便用紅色的羊毛和牛膝草蘸了牛犢和山羊的血以及水，灑在律法書和百姓身上，說：「這是上帝用來與你們立約的血。」他又照樣把血灑在聖幕和所有用來獻祭的器具上。根據律法，幾乎所有的器具都要用血來潔淨，因為若不流血，罪就得不到赦免。既然仿照天上的樣式所造的器具需要用祭牲的血來潔淨，天上的原物當然要用更美的祭物來潔淨。
