“ You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits broad. The altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits.

“ Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.

“ Build an altar out of acacia wood. It must be four feet six inches high and seven feet six inches square.

“ Using acacia wood, construct a square altar 7 1/2 feet wide, 7 1/2 feet long, and 4 1/2 feet high.

“ You are to construct the altar of acacia wood. The altar must be square, 7½ feet long, and 7½ feet wide; it must be 4½ feet high.

“ Now you shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits.

He made the altar of burnt offering of acacia wood. Five cubits was its length, and five cubits its breadth. It was square, and three cubits was its height.He made horns for it on its four corners. Its horns were of one piece with it, and he overlaid it with bronze.And he made all the utensils of the altar, the pots, the shovels, the basins, the forks, and the fire pans. He made all its utensils of bronze.And he made for the altar a grating, a network of bronze, under its ledge, extending halfway down.He cast four rings on the four corners of the bronze grating as holders for the poles.He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with bronze.And he put the poles through the rings on the sides of the altar to carry it with them. He made it hollow, with boards.

He made an altar of bronze, twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high.

And Gad came that day to David and said to him,“ Go up, raise an altar to the Lord on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.”

We have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat.

You shall also anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar, so that the altar may become most holy.

“ These are the measurements of the altar by cubits( the cubit being a cubit and a handbreadth): its base shall be one cubit high and one cubit broad, with a rim of one span around its edge. The steps of the altar shall face east.”

And Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. He rose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

And he set the altar of burnt offering at the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

An altar of earth you shall make for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen. In every place where I cause my name to be remembered I will come to you and bless you.If you make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stones, for if you wield your tool on it you profane it.And you shall not go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness be not exposed on it.’
