Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

因为公牛和山羊的血不能除罪。所以，基督到世上来的时候，就说：“祭物和礼物不是你所要的，但你曾给我预备了身体。

摩西将血的一半盛在盆中，另一半洒在坛上。

我必洒清水在你们身上，你们就洁净了。我要洁净你们，使你们脱离一切的污秽，弃绝一切的偶像。

饭后，他也照样拿起杯来，说：“这杯是用我的血所立的新约；你们每逢喝的时候，要如此行，来记念我。”

因为这是我立约的血，为许多人流出来，使罪得赦。

但愿赐平安的上帝，就是那凭永约之血，把群羊的大牧人—我们主耶稣从死人中领出来的上帝，

耶稣对他们说：“这是我立约的血，为许多人流出来的。

就是照父上帝的预知，藉着圣灵得以成圣，以致顺服耶稣基督，又蒙他血所洒的人。愿恩惠、平安多多地赐给你们！

饭后他照样拿起杯来，说：“这杯是用我的血所立的新约，为你们流出来的。

锡安哪，我因与你立约的血，要从无水坑里释放你中间被囚的人。

同样，他也必使许多国家惊奇，君王要向他闭口。未曾传给他们的，他们必看见；未曾听见过的事，他们要明白。

摩西取些膏油和坛上的血，弹在亚伦和他的衣服上，以及他儿子和他们的衣服上，使亚伦和他的衣服，他儿子和他们的衣服都成为圣。

我们藉着这爱子的血得蒙救赎，过犯得以赦免，这是照他丰富的恩典，

所以，第一个约也是用血立的。因为摩西当日照着律法将各样诫命传给众百姓，就拿朱红色绒和牛膝草，把牛犊、山羊的血和水洒在书上，又洒在众百姓身上，说：“这血就是上帝与你们立约的凭据。”他又照样把血洒在帐幕和敬拜用的各样器皿上。
