When Moses went and told the people all the Lord’s words and laws, they responded with one voice,“ Everything the Lord has said we will do.”

Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the rules. And all the people answered with one voice and said,“ All the words that the Lord has spoken we will do.”

Then Moses went down to the people and repeated all the instructions and regulations the Lord had given him. All the people answered with one voice,“ We will do everything the Lord has commanded.”

Moses came and told the people all the commands of the LORD and all the ordinances. Then all the people responded with a single voice,“ We will do everything that the LORD has commanded.”

Then Moses came and reported to the people all the words of the Lord and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice and said,“ All the words which the Lord has spoken we will do!”

百姓都同聲回答說：「凡耶和華所說的，我們都要遵行。」摩西就將百姓的話回覆耶和華。

又將約書念給百姓聽。他們說：「耶和華所吩咐的，我們都必遵行。」

約書亞對百姓說：「你們選定耶和華，要事奉他，你們自己作見證吧！」他們說：「我們願意作見證。」

「這是耶和華－你們神所吩咐教訓你們的誡命、律例、典章，使你們在所要過去得為業的地上遵行，

「以色列人哪，現在我所教訓你們的律例典章，你們要聽從遵行，好叫你們存活，得以進入耶和華－你們列祖之神所賜給你們的地，承受為業。

就是摩西在以色列人出埃及後所傳給他們的法度、律例、典章；

我照着耶和華－我神所吩咐的將律例典章教訓你們，使你們在所要進去得為業的地上遵行。

求你近前去，聽耶和華－我們神所要說的一切話，將他對你說的話都傳給我們，我們就聽從遵行。』「你們對我說的話，耶和華都聽見了。耶和華對我說：『這百姓的話，我聽見了；他們所說的都是。

摩西將以色列眾人召了來，對他們說：「以色列人哪，我今日曉諭你們的律例典章，你們要聽，可以學習，謹守遵行。

「你在百姓面前所要立的典章是這樣：你若買希伯來人作奴僕，他必服事你六年；第七年他可以自由，白白地出去。他若孤身來就可以孤身去；他若有妻，他的妻就可以同他出去。他主人若給他妻子，妻子給他生了兒子或女兒，妻子和兒女要歸主人，他要獨自出去。倘或奴僕明說：『我愛我的主人和我的妻子兒女，不願意自由出去。』他的主人就要帶他到審判官那裏，又要帶他到門前，靠近門框，用錐子穿他的耳朵，他就永遠服事主人。「人若賣女兒作婢女，婢女不可像男僕那樣出去。主人選定她歸自己，若不喜歡她，就要許她贖身；主人既然用詭詐待她，就沒有權柄賣給外邦人。主人若選定她給自己的兒子，就當待她如同女兒。若另娶一個，那女子的吃食、衣服，並好合的事，仍不可減少。若不向她行這三樣，她就可以不用錢贖，白白地出去。」「打人以致打死的，必要把他治死。人若不是埋伏着殺人，乃是神交在他手中，我就設下一個地方，他可以往那裏逃跑。人若任意用詭計殺了他的鄰舍，就是逃到我的壇那裏，也當捉去把他治死。「打父母的，必要把他治死。「拐帶人口，或是把人賣了，或是留在他手下，必要把他治死。「咒罵父母的，必要把他治死。「人若彼此相爭，這個用石頭或是拳頭打那個，尚且不至於死，不過躺臥在牀，若再能起來扶杖而出，那打他的可算無罪；但要將他躭誤的工夫用錢賠補，並要將他全然醫好。「人若用棍子打奴僕或婢女，立時死在他的手下，他必要受刑。若過一兩天才死，就可以不受刑，因為是用錢買的。「人若彼此爭鬥，傷害有孕的婦人，甚至墜胎，隨後卻無別害，那傷害她的，總要按婦人的丈夫所要的，照審判官所斷的，受罰。若有別害，就要以命償命，

「你要愛耶和華－你的神，常守他的吩咐、律例、典章、誡命。

這樣說來，律法是為甚麼有的呢？原是為過犯添上的，等候那蒙應許的子孫來到，並且是藉天使經中保之手設立的。但中保本不是為一面作的；神卻是一位。

至於你，可以站在我這裏，我要將一切誡命、律例、典章傳給你；你要教訓他們，使他們在我賜他們為業的地上遵行。』
