那位坐着的，看来好像碧玉和红宝石，又有彩虹围绕着宝座，看来好像绿宝石。

耶稣在他们面前改变了形象，脸好像太阳一样照耀，衣服洁白像光。

在它们头顶的穹苍上面，有宝座的形状，好像蓝宝石的样子。在宝座的形象上面，有一个样子像人的形象。我看见在那仿佛是他腰部以上，好像闪耀的金属，又好像有火四面包围。在那仿佛是他腰部以下，我又看见好像有火，光芒环绕着他。下雨的日子，云中彩虹的样子怎样，环绕他的光芒的样子也怎样。这就是耶和华荣耀的形状的样子。我一看见，就俯伏在地上，跟着听见有说话的声音。

这城有神的荣耀，城的光辉好像极贵的宝石，又像晶莹的碧玉。

从来没有人见过神，我们若彼此相爱，神就住在我们里面，他的爱也在我们里面得到成全了。

乌西雅王去世那年，我看见主坐在高高的宝座上，他的衣裳垂下，充满圣殿。在他上面有撒拉弗侍立，各有六个翅膀；用两个翅膀遮脸，两个翅膀遮脚，两个翅膀飞翔。他们彼此高呼着说：“圣哉！圣哉！圣哉！万军之耶和华！他的荣光充满全地。”因呼叫者的声音，门槛的根基震撼，殿也充满了烟云。那时我说：“我有祸了，我灭亡了！因为我是个嘴唇不洁的人，又住在嘴唇不洁的人民中间，又因为我亲眼看见了大君王万军之耶和华。”

耶稣说：“腓力，我跟你们在一起这么久了，你还不认识我吗？那看见了我的就是看见了父，你怎么还说‘把父显示给我们’呢？

这不是说有人见过父；只有从神那里来的那一位，他才见过父。

耶和华的使者没有再向玛挪亚和他的妻子显现，那时玛挪亚才知道他是耶和华的使者。玛挪亚对他的妻子说：“我们必定要死，因为我们看见了神。”

又说：“我是你父亲的神、亚伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神。”摩西因为怕见神，就把自己的脸蒙住了。

“那出现如破晓的晨光，美丽如月亮，灿烂如日头，威武有如展开旗帜的军队的是谁呢？”

米该雅说：“因此，你要听耶和华的话；我看见耶和华坐在他的宝座上，天上的万军都侍立在他的左右。

他的右手拿着七星，有一把两刃的利剑从他口中吐出来；他的脸发光好像正午的烈日。

城墙是用碧玉做的，城是用明净像玻璃的纯金做的。城墙的根基是用各样宝石装饰的：第一座根基是碧玉，第二座是蓝宝石，第三座是玛瑙，第四座是绿宝石，第五座是红玛瑙，第六座是红宝石，第七座是黄璧玺，第八座是水苍玉，第九座是红璧玺，第十座是翡翠，第十一座是紫玛瑙，第十二座是紫晶。十二个门是十二颗珍珠，每一个门是用一颗珍珠做的。城里的街道是纯金的，好像透明的玻璃。我没有看见城里有圣所，因为主全能的神和羊羔就是城的圣所。这城不需要日月照明，因为有神的荣耀照明，而羊羔就是城的灯。
