“ I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you.

爾之南境、起於尋野、近乎以東、南界自鹽海之極處而東、繞亞克拉濱山之南、延至於尋、出加低斯巴尼亞之南、越哈薩亞達、至於押們、自押們繞至埃及溪、止於大海、西界大海、北界起於大海、延至何珥山、自何珥山至哈馬郊、延及西達達、自西斐崙而往、至哈薩以難為極、是為爾之北界、東界起於哈薩以難、延至示番、自示番延至利比拉、在亞延之東、又至基尼烈海之東隅、沿約但河、至鹽海為極、爾地四界、即此、摩西告以色列族曰、斯即耶和華所命、掣籤分於九支派、及半支派之地、蓋流便迦得二支派、及瑪拿西半支派、循其宗族、已得其業、在約但東、與耶利哥相對、日出之處、○

猶大人乃往、耶和華以迦南人比利洗人付於其手、在比色殺其人一萬、

以色列之上帝耶和華、以西宏及其民眾、付於以色列人手、以色列人擊之、取亞摩利人所居之地、

其權所及、自此海至彼海、自大河至地極兮、

耶和華又於我前驅逐諸民、即居斯土之亞摩利人、故我亦必事耶和華、以其為我上帝也、

大河之西自提弗薩、延及迦薩列王、皆為所羅門所轄、四周綏安、

所羅門轄諸國、自大河至非利士地、延及埃及境、皆納貢服事所羅門、至其畢生、

使大蜂驅亞摩利二王於爾前、不藉爾刃爾弓、

爾眾勿緩、追襲爾敵、擊其後軍、勿容入邑、爾上帝耶和華付之於爾手矣、

我既遁逃、爾則起自伏所、而取其邑、爾上帝耶和華必付之於爾手、

耶和華諭約書亞曰、勿懼之、我付之於爾手、無一能禦爾者、

大衛復諮諏耶和華、耶和華曰、起往基伊拉、我將以非利士人付於爾手、

我導爾入亞摩利人所居之地、在約但東、彼與爾戰、我付之於爾手、滅之於爾前、爾遂據有其地、
