我对你们所说的一切，你们都要小心谨守，你们不可提别神的名，也不可让人从你的口中听到。

你要谨慎自己，留心自己的教训。在这些事上要有恒心，因为你这样作，不但能救自己，也能救那些听你的人。

“你只要自己谨慎，又要谨守你的心思，免得你忘了你亲眼看见的事，又免得这些事在你有生之日离开你的心；总要把这些事传给你的子子孙孙，

使你们不与你们中间剩下的这些国家的人来往；他们的神的名字，你们不可提，不可指着他们起誓，不可事奉他们，也不可敬拜他们；

“到那日（这是万军之耶和华的宣告），我必从这地除掉偶像的名号，它们不再被人记念；我也必从这地除去假先知和污秽的灵。

我要把‘巴力’的名字从她口中除掉；他们的名字没有人再提起。

你们要小心，免得有人失去了神的恩典；免得有苦根长起来缠绕你们，因而污染了许多人；

只是你们要谨慎遵守耶和华的仆人摩西吩咐你们的诫命和律法，爱耶和华你们的神，遵行他的一切道路，谨守他的诫命，紧紧倚靠他，一心一意事奉他。”

追求别神的，他们的愁苦必定加多。他们所奠的血祭，我不祭奠；我的嘴唇也不提别神的名。

所以，你们行事为人要谨慎，不要像愚昧人，却要像聪明人。

你们自己要十分谨慎，爱耶和华你们的神。

如果他坚心遵行我的诫命和典章，像今日一样，我必坚立他的国，直到永远。’所以现今在耶和华的会众，全体以色列人面前，我们的神也在垂听，你们务要谨守和寻求耶和华你们神的一切诫命，使你们可以承受那美地，并且遗留给你们以后的子孙，永远作为产业。“至于你，我儿所罗门哪，你要认识耶和华你父亲的神，一心乐意事奉他，因为耶和华鉴察万人的心，知道人的一切心思意念。你若是寻求他，就必寻见；你若是离弃他，他必永远丢弃你。

因为他们暗中所作的事，连提起来也是羞耻的。

尼波、巴力．免（以上的名字是改了的）、西比玛；又为他们修筑的城市起了别的名字。

我曾说：“我要谨慎我的行为，不让我的舌头犯罪；恶人在我面前的时候，我总要用罩子约束我的嘴。”

你们要对他们这样说：“那些没有创造天地的神，必从地上、从天下消灭。”

也要拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的神柱；用火焚烧他们的亚舍拉，砍倒他们的神的雕像，并且把他们的名字从这地方除灭。

“所以你们要特别小心，谨慎自己，因为耶和华在何烈山从火中对你们说话的那一天，你们没有看见什么形象；
