他发愤恨，谁能立得住呢？他发烈怒，谁能当得起呢？他的愤怒如火倾泄而出，磐石因他崩裂。

你竟放任你刚硬不悔改的心，为自己累积愤怒！在愤怒的日子，上帝公义的审判要显示出来。他要照各人的行为报应各人。凡恒心行善，寻求荣耀、尊贵和不能朽坏的，就有永生报偿他们；但是那些自私自利、不顺从真理、反顺从不义的人，就有恼恨、愤怒报应他们。他要把患难、困苦加给一切作恶的人，先是犹太人，后是希腊人；

壮丁被火烧灭，童女也无婚礼颂歌。祭司倒在刀下，寡妇却不哀哭。

你们要给人，就必有给你们的，并且用十足的升斗，连摇带按，上尖下流地倒在你们怀里；因为你们用什么量器量给人，也必用什么量器量给你们。”

你，惟独你是可畏的！你的怒气一发，谁能在你面前站得住呢？

落在永生上帝的手里真是可怕呀！

因上帝降的灾祸使我恐惧，因他的威严，我什么都不能。

“这是上帝为恶人所定的份，残暴人从全能者所得的产业：倘若他的儿女增多，仍被刀所杀；他的子孙必不得饱食。他遗留的人必死而埋葬，他的寡妇也不哀哭。
